  2. I have seen far better pics of this event than these strange-angled ones. Her dress and shoes are to be seen as well in the better pics. Very elegant. I like her hair. She looks good, maybe with a little cosmetic help in the cheeks lately…….

  7. Best photos of the Princess that I’ve seen for a while. There appears to be some colour through her hair. It’s not quite the tired flat grey we saw earlier in the summer or is it a trick of the light? Agree with Anon 17 20, that the grey hair is ageing and unflattering. AnnieM

    1. The German contribution does not say that Princess Caroline‘s hair is unflattering, she explicitly states that it is „ugly“. This is my point. I don‘t think PC derserves to be insulted in this manner.

    1. Sweeping generalisation made with absolutely no evidence whatsoever.

    2. Her outfit looks very 80s to me because of its shiny fabric, because of the ribbon tied to a bow, because of the billowing sleeves and the central slit in the skirt. It´s not "evidence", it´s just what my opinion is based on.
Caroline´s previous outfits similarly had distinct late 70s/early 80s features. The dark one had massive lapels and very wide trousers; the one with the white low collar was like straight from that era as well.

  12. Princess Caroline always had an amazing taste.
Unfortunately, here and there, that has changed in the past years.
In this case, the skirt of the dress is not flattering at all.

  13. Criticize yourself not others. Looks like a nice event. I'm sure everyone had a great time!
