On September 1, 2022, Queen Silvia of Sweden presented the Queen Silvia Nursing Awards to nursing students who have developed innovative ideas that contribute to the care for the elderly and people with dementia. The award ceremony took place at the Bernadotte Library.
The awardees for the year of 2021 are Julia Osiecka from Poland, Caroline Bjarnevi from Sweden, Stephan Wengel from Germany, Michael Drake from USA, Silvija Sutkuté from Lithuania and Jean Marcos Singh from Brazil.
