The British Ambassador to Liechtenstein, Jane Owen, opened a book of condolences at the town hall in Vaduz on the occasion of the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Hereditary Prince Alois and Hereditary Princess Sophie signed the book of condolences in the presence of the British Ambassador and expressed condolence to the British Royal Family on behalf of Princely House of Liechtenstein and the government.
Nice gesture on behalf of Prince Alois, Princess Sophie and the Government of Liechtenstein.
ReplyDeletePrincess Sophie is always an elegant dresser which is helped by her height and slender frame.
In photo N° 5, it looks as if the conversation with the Ambassadress is being helped by an interpreter. The Ambassadress’ dress looks interesting and in keeping with the mourning period for Queen Elizabeth II.
Slightly off topic subject. Queen Consort Camilla has two children and five grandchildren. They don’t appear anywhere on the radar screen.
Her son Thomas is 47 years old and has two children. Her daughter is 44 years old and has three children.
One would have thought that they would be appearing somewhere in the media being that their mother is now Queen Consort of England.
Any information, not gossip, would be appreciated.
Maybe their low key existence is not fodder for the tabloids (gutter press) to make money.

If so, I think it’s sad as I think the Duchess and the Queen had created, in these later years, a good and respectful friendship between them.
After all, they were close neighbours in Windsor and the Queen was her ex mother-in-law.
