  1. Letizia looks wonderful and so do the two Sofias, but I must say I don't like Leonors dress.

Queen Letizia : I think we saw her already in this dress. I remember the cutout in the waist. Clutch doesn't match. Wow ! No espadrilles this time.
CP Leonor : Looks very beautiful in pictures 6 & 7. Unfortunately I don't like the dress. It is too dark and the fitting is not very good. Clutch doesn't match either. I like her espadrilles a lot. The way the straps are placed is so much better than the long straps around the leg.
Infanta Sofia : Looks very lovely in this skirt + blouse ensemble.
Queen Sofia : Looks very good in her flared pants and top.
Everybody seems in good mood except princess Irene. Someone could
at least take her arm to support her. She doesn't look very fit anymore.
King Felipe is a real gentleman : at least his mother can lean on his arm.

It seems to me that princess Irene does not want any help. In the first picture queen Letizia is trying to help her, but she looks almost angry.

Anon. 14:11 Yes you are right I see now that Letizia puts her hand on P. Irene's shoulder, but she is still looking angry.

I don't think Princess Irene is unhappy per se nor angry at being helped, I think she is just an elderly lady who might not feel physically well all the time.
What strikes me is how much Infanta Sofia looks like Princess Irene did as a young woman!!

lovely summer dresses, Letizia's dress is more daring around the waist.
Sister Irene always looks miserable like she has been forced to come out

    5. A "King" Konstantin does only exist in his own dreams. 1973 they had a referendum in Greek. Since then there is no monarchy in this Land any more.

Coralie, It was explained elsewhere recently, in connection with Queen Anne Marie, that under the Treaty of Vienna of 1815, the title still stands. I understand that the correct title is King Constantine, former King of the Hellenes AnnieM

In greece there isnt monarchy. If he has been the last king, now he isnt king of anything anymore.

    8. O.K. AnnieM has explained it. See above.
So Princess Irene and her sister have a brother who is now known as Mr Nobody.
      Please, end of story.

My favourite outfit of the night is Queen Sofia’s. To my surprise. I like the dresses of both Queen Letizia and Infanta Sofia but I don’t think the dress worn byCrown Princess Leonor does her any favours. However, hers are the only shoes I like tonight. King Felipe looks gorgeous. AnnieM

  10. I love Queen Letizia's dress, the sandals are perfect, the clutch, unusual choice? Queen Sofia looks pretty in her ensemble. How splendid to see Pss Irene out to dinner with the Royal family. The young Pss look pretty. King Felipe looks very handsome in his casual gear.

  11. Leonor's dress is my favorite, it looks fabulous on her - it's free, unusual and even dark colours doesn't make it dule.

I forgot to mention what I think about King Felipe's beard. It is time he shaves it off. He reminds me of a big dwarf with his white beard. If he shaves his beard I'm sure he will look 10 years younger. He is an handsome man and it is a pity to hide his face like that.

Leonor's dress doesn't loom very summery and the shape doesn't work for her. It makes her look huge. Infanta Sofia's dress is better but still too much fabric for my taste. Princess Irene looks angry.

Letizia looks good although I wonder what happened to her espadrilles. I thought they are 'de rigueur' in Spain in summer?

I think Leonor is in a super smart design and looks amazing, while Sofia is in an ordinary boring one, also QL's dress is chic with details at the waist. Princess Irene has withdrawn from the public life many years ago, she is not well. - Kiki

The sister of the former queen could have shown a more polite attitude instead of that grin..
After all they all represent a country. Or its just a matter of nice dresses and shoes?

Love Q Leti’s dress, especially the cool cutouts at waistline. Chef’s kiss perfection!

Leonor’s dress and shoes are similar to my own personal style, comfy and a bit funky for this season and TPO.

I can’t help but smile reading comments about P Irene in these photos, because I’d probably appear quite similar through the paparazzi lens.
