Queen Margrethe II attended a military parade in Korsoer

On August 29, Queen Margrethe II of Denmark attended a military parade of the Danish Army at the Naval Station in Korsoer. The parade was held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Queen's reign. Her sons Crown Prince Frederik and Prince Joachim were also present. The 50th anniversary of the Queen’s accession to the throne is celebrated with a number of events in 2022.

    1. Queen Margrethe often wears red in her ensembles.
      Along with purple, it is one of the most popular royal colours.
      And it helps her to stand out in a crowd.
      I think it’s September when we are going to see a lot of formal events and celebrations for her 50 years as a Queen.
      Most of the events have been postponed from earlier this year.
