On August 23, 2022, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden visited Gardsjo farm in Heby Municipality in Uppsala. The Crown Princess met farmer Louise Gårdenborg. Three years ago Louise stepped away from her career in architecture to take over Gårdsjö Farm. In recognition of the efforts made at Gårdsjö Farm to reduce nutrient runoff, Louise has been awarded with the national Baltic Sea Farmer of the Year Award for Sweden.
