  1. We are struck by the passage of time through the growth of children. These two princesses, little girls not so long ago, have now blossomed into young women. All dressed beautifully in different colors which give a nice contrast to each other.

@21:49, there is absolutely nothing “ chubby” about Leonor’s figure, she looks healthy and well proportioned, not every woman has a tiny waist as Letizia does.
I often read comments about the queen being too thin and all kinds of speculations, then here comes the daughter and because she has a different body type, the chubby whispers start… please stop such ridiculous nonsense.
They all look great, Leonor’s dress is very original and trendy, and the queen looks fantastic as usual.

Seriously? What a messed up psyche and world where that is considered chubby. Those are 2 beautiful (and I remind, growing, not yet adult) young ladies. This family looks beautiful, I appreciate how individual taste is beginning to show. Love the dresses.

Goodness, the girl is not chubby and does not look chubby either.
Then the comment below of the girls being "bigger" than Letizia...
It will not be fun or comfortable for these girls to always be compared to their extremely thin mother and unfortunately it's already becoming obvious at such a young age. It's bad enough even for adult women, but for teenage girls to have their bodies watched so closely and commented upon... it's terrible.
As so often when we see royal teenage girls featured here, there are adults commenting on the bodies of perfectly healthy teenage girls in development! They do not need to look exactly like their mother, yes, they have got their own body types and body shape and it is all fine. They are beautiful girls!!
Thank you, Cherry!! Yes, 99,9% of women have got a waist wider than Letizia! So what? It is not a bad thing!

Oh my, a big NO to Leonor's dress. It's too old for her, it's too high & tight at the waist. The "flaps" don't hang properly. Her shoes don't even seem appropriate for her age. What a shame that since Leonor & Sofía are "bigger" than tiny Letizia, they won't be able to fit into their mom's great array of clothes. Other than that, these two girls are all of a sudden nearly adults; I love seeing them out & about. *Regina

I like Leonor's dress. There is a time you cannot hide anymore that little girls are becoming young ladies. That time is there for Leonor and soon Sofia will look very childish with her ballerina's and short dresses.

Lenor is 16 going on 17 so low kitten heels are ok. I agree the dress is a little old for her. Sofia’s dress is lovely and appropriate for her age

Letizia isnt 1.70, she is just something more than 1.60. She uses several tips to look taller, such as heels, bright colors, very straight posture... But she isnt 170, and i hope no one will feel offended!!

      Delete
    5. Anonymous26/7/22 22:07

@07:28: When I said "flaps" I meant the "wings" on her dress (I don't know what they're called), they don't look right. I simply do not care for Leonor's shoes. And Leonor's top is too tight. My opinion. We all have opinions/comments.

When I said Letizia is "tiny" I was referring to her size & her thinness, not her height. Her daughters might not fit into her "tiny" dresses, because Letizia's dresses fit her own "tiny" figure to a T, there is no wiggle room. LOL

      Seriously! Good-bye all!

While I like all the dresses, my favourite is the striking red and pink dress worn by Princess Leonor. However, while I like the dress I agree with Regina that it does not suit the wearer. For some reason it makes this slender girl look much bigger than she is and double the width of her mother. Someone more skilled in design than I might be able to explain why this is so as vertical lines should be slimming.

The young Royal ladies are showing their individual tastes. Its lovely to see there closeness, and how they support each other. They have been brought up beautifully.

All 3 ladies look stylish & pretty, although I don't care for the neckline on Letizia's orange dress, it curves up too high on the neck and looks like it is smothering her. The contrast between the 2 girls is becoming noticeable, now that Leonor is dressing like a young lady wearing make-up and heels and Sofia is still dressing like a girl in flats. Even in flats she is taller than both her mother and her sister, she will one day be a beautiful woman, she seems also to be a sympathetic support for her sister, heartwarming to see. S.M.

Leonor's dress is better suited to an older person. The faux sleeve or whatever the inserts are create a triangular shape at the top, and the voluminous skirts add kilos to her figure. It seems that she chose elements of her mother's style (Letizia owns a Carolina sheath in black and white in this design) but it comes off as too brightly colored and fussy.
The color of the Infanta's dress is too muted. Her dress also has element of her mother style (navy Cortana). She is a lovely girl and being styled for her age is appropriate. But a brighter color even in the same style would have looked prettier.
@ Angela. This is a blog about fashion which was totally ignored in Letizia's case. Haughty etc. is just another way of framing her as an upstart with commoner roots. This, from another commoner who knows how 'royal' should be done better than the actual royals. Perhaps this comment will read better on 'that other forum'.
