All the ladies look like they are in night dresses with Caroline's being the best.

@ Anon. 09:54. The ladies are art students and we know that artists often are not dressed classic. I would not call Princess Caroline's dress a night gown. This cotton dress by Dries Van Noten is very lovely and summery. Perhaps a tad too long. I like the sleeves and the print. I don't like her sandals, they make her legs look shorter.

    2. This dress is a success, far away from a night dress.

    3. @msy: Now that you mention it, one could believe it is a fashion line up for night dresses.
But as @Anon 1/7/22 12:06 said, "the ladies are art students".
So rigid classic styles probably don't interest them.

  2. Ravie de voir Caroline dans ce modèle que je trouve légèrement trop long ; en effet, quelques centimètres en moins à hauteur du genou -mais pas plus- étofferaient plus sa silhouette ; très élégantes ses sandales !

Very fancy to wear sunglasses to that dress indoors.

I don't think the picture is taken indoors. If you look at the right angle of the picture you see a brick wall and the students are standing on the stairs of a terrace or patio that leads (probably) to a garden.

This photo appears to be taken outside on the steps of the building. There is foliage at the edges of the photo.

    5. On another royal site, there is the same photo but taken from a different angle and it confirms that the photo was definately taken outside, in a courtyard .

The text from another site specifies that the ceremony was in the courtyard of Monaco city hall (an approximate translation from French) - so not indoors.

I like the dress as shown on the model and I think the single photo of Princess Caroline does an injustice to the dress. I love her sandals too. Its rather unusual to see Caroline in a designer other than Chanel and I think her choice of this simple summer dress Dries Van Noten is a good one.

I think this is a lovely dress, confortable and with the appropriate length. I have to say that I am all for grey hair if that is one’s preference and I know many women that look stunning going natural, but I don’t think that is the case with her, it looks drab and lifeless, there so many healthy products that restore shine and vibrancy and she could benefit from them.

This is quite an interesting dress and I love the styling on the model with the light shoes and colourful handbag. I don’t think the neckline is particularly flattering on P. Caroline - too open perhaps? (V.M.)

This is a better outfit than some of the more bizarre Chanel outfits the Princess has worn but it looks like it’s a size too big. I also think the sunglasses are strange in a photo like this and totally agree with Cherry’s comments about her hair. At a recent event it looked as if she had a light brown colour through it and her appearance was immensely improved

  8. The Princess looks lovely, but I prefer the look of the model. I am not really sure what it is. The overall look is a bit bland, maybe the shoes and bag of the model, add some lustre?

Although I also think she looks lovely, I agree on the “je ne sais quoi” something off. It is, I think, indeed the length, a tad too long, and the (very nice) sandals. A different colour would have given more vibrancy.

  9. Love that Caroline's gone all natural now. And her frock is appropriate amongst art students. Lovely style

Strange dress and the shoes should have been left in the closet.

I admire Caroline for going natural but I agree with Cherry Blossom that some kind of non-toxic rinse or something similar would add sparkle. I also think her straight hair is not very favourable and a different style or cut with waves would give her a much softer look.
