On June 21, 2022, Queen Mathilde of Belgium took part in the European Development Days (EDD) organized by the European Commission, at Brussels Expo. In her capacity as Advocate for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, the Queen gave a speech at the opening ceremony.
Afterwards, the Queen met with a group of Young Leaders and visited the stands of the United Nations and Team Belgium, which is composed of various actors of the Belgian development cooperation. For this year's 15th edition, the EDD has the title "Global Gateway: building sustainable partnerships for a connected world."

For once she is wearing something that actually fits her! She is such an elegant woman. This is perfect for her. I hope this is the end of ill fitting dresses.
ردحذفShe has the same kind of pant suit in other colors. It is not the 1st time she is wearing something that fits her. I loved her in the Armani dress in Oslo last Friday. It fitted her very well too. No belt, not a wide skirt. I'm glad this trend of (long) midi-dresses is almost over. Since she has several dresses in that style, we will probably still see her wearing these outfits during the summer months.

ردحذفWow. She knocked it out of the park this time. An outfit that actually flatters her figure. Simple, solid color - she "wears the dress" , not the other way around in some of her past "misses". This white chic number is worth several "rewears" in my opinion.
