That green colour is a very good choice for Queen Mathilde but not the style, I am not a fan of cape. The fabric seems a little thin, we can see her undergarment. Princess Eleonore's dress is too long and boring, it does nothing to inhance her beauty.

Mother and daughter both look lovely in their pretty dresses. Two things would have made these looks complete perfection: Princess Eleonore needed to wear at least a kitten heel and Queen Mathilde's dress needs to be either full length or have a slim gold belt. Maje creates beautiful dresses for young women especially--this particular dress is gorgeous!

@ Janet. A kitten heel ? Do you know how old she is ? She is 14 years old. Although her dress fits very well it is too long.

Anonymous--why would it be inappropriate for a 14 year old girl to wear a low-heeled formal shoe? The length of the dress would have looked better had the Princess worn at least a low heel.

I did not say it is inappropriate. Maybe as a 14 year old she doesn't want to wear a heel (even if it is a kitten heel). The dress is too long anyway. (but maybe she likes longer dresses for the moment). She is still very young and as often with young people of that age category they have not found a style yet that we as adults like too. She has all the time to grow up and make better choices than now.

The shape of Eleanor's dress is a bit odd. I quite prefer yesterday's one, it suited her perfect. The colour looks gorgeous on her though!

It is Eleonore and not Eleanor.

For those who are interested. Queen Mathilde is wearing the earrings of the Tunisian parrure.

  6. Ravissante Eleonore dans cette nouvelle robe bleue mais je la préfère dans celle d'hier ; de plus, je pense qu'en portant des chaussures à petits talons, elle aurait eu plus d'allure !

  7. Yes Eleonore's dress is boring and uninteresting. And too long.

I think the Queen and Princess look lovely. I agree that Eleonore would have benefitted from kitten heels. The color of both dresses is very nice, especially Queen Mathilde's. (Debra)

When they’re full length these cape dresses are so dramatic, but here it just looks rather boxy and shapeless. The young princess has chosen a very pretty dress in a lovely colour. It’s good to see her out with her mother, perhaps getting a taste of what’s ahead for her. (V.M.)
