To me more or less a copy of the outfit QM wore yesterday upon arrival in Congo, but today's fit is too tight and to me not that flattering.

This is a no from me. The dress is ill fitting and the hat doesn’t add much. Mathilda herself looks lovely as always- Mary

Can someone please burn Mathildes hats. They don't do anything for her.

  4. Elégantes toutes les deux, chacune dans son style ; la Première Dame porte une superbe robe sur fond saumoné avec des motifs orange ainsi que diverses couleurs qui s'y incorporent !

I liked yesterday's outfit which featured similar colors as today's dress. But, today's dress doesn't fit well across her bust, and I think it might have looked better unbelted. The red accessories are very nice, and Queen Mathilde is beautiful whatever she wears. Her smile is so lovely. (Debra)

I think it's obvious that this dress is too tight/too small/wrong size for Mathilde. If it's a re-wear, she has definitely outgrown it. I think Victoria or Maxima has a similar dress in a different colour and length? Once again, Mathilde's smile and composure saves the day.

Q Mathilde has her own style of dressing. She looks fine to me.

It is a pity that this beautiful dress has become just a bit too tight.
The red accessories are very good.
The hat is a hair piece, not a full hat, which makes it more acceptable.

I love this dress but it is a bit snug across her chest. Her hat appears to be one of those donut/headband things as opposed to an actual hat. I really wish Mathilde and several other royals would just wear hats instead of these pseudo hats--even a head bolter (thank you, Prince Philip, for that apt description of a facinator) would be better.

It was not just a visit to the museum but King Philippe held a speech and was honoring a black man with the Order of Leopold because of his participation in World War II.

      Honoring a black man? Really?

Mathilde looks pretty as usual. But the way she dresses makes her look much older than her age. She insists on wearing dresses accentuating the waist line and it is not flattering at all.

It’s ironic (prophetic?) that King Philippe’s ancestor King Leopold committed genocide against the Congolese people in the late 19th century and today he is honoring a black man with the Order of Leopold. As far as fashion goes, Queen Matilda does have her own style but I agree with other posters that this dress is ill-fitting in the chest area. She’s a tall woman with wide hips and narrow shoulders and I think the dress would’ve looked better if it was a size bigger. Not a fan of the style of hat or the red accessories. Nude would’ve been a nicer choice, imo. Her smile and warmth are always her best accessories. -Angelia

  13. The Queen looks pretty, but as previously stated, the bodice seems problematic, a bit on the small side, regardless she looks lovely.

The dress looks far to similar to the one she wore yesterday and was a hit with me. The darker red hat/bag/shoes, are pretty on their own, but not with this dress which she appears stuffed into. Sorry QM, I like you, but a no from me on this outfit. jj

Old fashion dress, to short, better 15 cm longer. The wife of the President is more special dresses than our Mathilde.
