On June 22, 2022, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium visited the province of Limburg. The visit started at a fruit and vegetable auction of BelOrta in Borgloon. BelOrta is a cooperative of 950 local growers of fresh fruit and vegetables.

The King and Queen then visited De Wroeter in Kortessem. De Wroeter is a social organization that offers various activities, training or employment in the production and sale of traditional products, in organic horticulture and fruit growing, green maintenance and catering, to people from disadvantaged groups or with disabilities.

In Kortessem, the King and Queen then visited a bakery, a kitchen, greenhouses and a farm shop. The visit ended in the City Hall and on the Market in Bilzen, where the King and Queen spoke with the locals.

      The reason why QM took a pashmina is because it is cold where the fruits and vegetables are stored. These places are like big refrigerators and with a t° of almost 30° outside she could use a pashmina.

      Je confirme vos dires ; pour me faire de l'argent de poche pendant les vacances d'été scolaires, je me levais très tôt pour aller travailler dans une cave coopérative de fruits et légumes réfrigérée, vêtue d'une petite laine que j'enlevais à l'extérieur pour le reste de la journée très chaude ; je ne vous parle du contraste avec le petit rhume à la clé !

    I like the dress on Q.M.. It fits her well and the side pleat adds some detail. I’d prefer to see it worn in a very casual setting, with sandals and a straw handbag. (V.M.)

  7. J'adore la robe anis même si je ne suis pas trop fan du pli/pan asymétrique droit ; elle ne nécessite pas le port d'une ceinture ; jolies nouvelles boucles d'oreilles !

      Si cela peut vous intéresser : le bracelet est de Francesca Romana Diana. Les boucles d'oreilles elle les avait déjà ainsi que la robe.
