Never a nice look with your toes hanging over your shoes.

It may have been the camera angle, in the fourth photo, her toes are not hanging over her shoes. The last photo may look like they are hanging over, maybe she had been on her feet a long time, it was hot, and her feet swelled. Happens to the best of us at times.

First Lady Denise Nyakeru‘s evening dress is gorgeous, lovely rich colors and those festive sleeves which both Princess Beatrix or Queen Maxima would love.

  5. Nice that Q. Mathilde is wearing Marie Mero, a Belgian fashion label that you can find in the high street.

Yes princess Astrid was already client at Marie-Mero's, now Queen Mathilde found the way to this beautiful Belgian fashion label. I have 2 dresses by that label since a 4 or 5 years and they are still fashionable and of good quality.

  6. The Queen looks lovely in evening dress. The First Lady Denis Nyakeru's evening gown is stunning. The gorgeous rich array of colors work so well. I love the off the shoulder and unusual sleeves. The gown fits her beautifully.

According the website "Fashion Queen Mathilde" QM is wearing a satin top and a pink flower skirt instead of an evening dress. The outfit has been designed by Esmeralda Ammoun. Queen Mathilde has other outfits designed by her. I like it.

Lovely dress from Queen Mathilde--it fits her beautifully and I love the fabric. Its very like a batik fabric--perfect for the setting.
