With this dress she is looking like a little girl again. Shoes are very up-to-date.
She as a fair skin and the dress is a bit too pale for her. It looks like she is a very sweet person.

      Je trouve que sa robe fait très petite fille, elle cultive ce style alors qu'elle va avoir 23 ans. J'aime ses mules. Haut du visage Hanovre bas du visage Caroline;

Wish this super cute dress was in a different color for Princess Alexandra because I feel this color washes her out but it fits her great and the style is a fun summer dress. Love the shoes!!!

Alexandra est très sérieuse dans ses amours....Elle est toujours avec son amoureux allemand.

The ugly duckling has become a swan!
She differs so much with Caroline’s other children, but is really sweet in her own style,

Because they have different dads. Maybe she's not pretty, but she's sweet.

    3. I'm so glad someone agrees, Mabel. I got slated previously (I think by someone who didn't know the fairy tale) for saying this From being a relatively plain child she has become a good looking young lady. It's a compliment.

    4. I agree with Mabel and Annie. Of course nobody wanted to insult Alexandra. The socalled "ugly duckling" refers to the fairytale.

Nice dress on Pss Alexandra, maybe a stronger color would have been my choice. Like her mules, strong color. She gets prettier every time one see her.

@Mabel, can you be a little more insensitive? Your comment is mean beyond words, but then again, that is how you roll.

I agree with Mabel. We all have our opinions, don't we? The "ugly duckling" wasn't actually ugly; it was just different from the others. I would also like to see a stronger color on Alexandra, this dress doesn't do much for her. Perhaps a different hairstyle - the centre part doesn't suit everyone & I wish it would go out of style *Regina

Dress is too tight under her arms. She looks young and fresh, which of course she is.

  10. This is a very pretty, feminine dress and looks good on, I am not sure of the fit, whether its the upper bodice or under the arms? looks a bit too close fitting or narrow?
The only thing I don't like is the color. It washes Alexandra out somewhat. The shoes are up to date, but I am not a fan of them.

The dress looks age appropriate, a bit tight, and a stronger color might be better. The shoes are just ugly. How does one walk in them, seems like they would cut the foot with the sharp angles and would be murder to walk and be comfortable. Otherwise, lovely young woman.

Princess Alexandra is looking very beautiful here. She knows how to dress - at least better than other members of the family at that age.

Off topic, but I want to thank you for your support on my comment.
I was surprised myself by how CB’s reply hurt me.

  14. @ Mabel, so being called out for your insensitive comment hurts you? Taking into account your generally aggressive opinions, you should be able to deal with a reality check.
Regina, is not OK to say how a young lady was " Tele ugly duckling " as a child , no matter how you spin it to justify it.

@Sandra: I did not "spin it". Are you familiar with the fairy tale? Honestly, no one may say anything nowadays. "Ugly duckling" is an expression of being/looking different from the rest; it doesn't mean someone is IN FACT (emphasis, not shouting) ugly or unattractive. That aside, you've never commented on someone's looks, even on a child's? *Regina

Apart from the maybe somewhat tight top PA looks good. The eye-catching orange colour of the shoes make it a far from boring overall look.

Regina& Mabel, I respectfully disagree with both of you. The name of the fable is the “ UGLY” duckling, not the special, different, or lovely duck, it is never acceptable to label a child ( even if is not yours) as ugly. You can rationalize a somewhat mean comment, even if the intent wasn’t such, but you can’t change the tone of such. On a better virtual world it would be refreshing if adults could apologize, and just move on.
