  1. Precioso vestido de líneas depuradas y corte impecable. El color rojo siempre es un Plus. Creo que lo estrenó en Suecia. Le sienta como un guante. Letizia está muy guapa y el Rey también, con una corbata divertida.

This dress looks cheaper than the Mango dress from yesterday! Haha,

    1. What is the problem with "looks cheap" if it looks nice? Should clothing of royals always be or look expensive ? I would limit it to "should not look vulgar", and even that is not unanimously accepted in these days. Personally I am more worried about excessively flashy.

  4. Depuis quelque temps, les couleurs rouge/corail ainsi que l'orange sont de sortie pour certaines de ces dames royales ; Letizia est bien jolie dans cette robe à la belle coupe qui met en valeur sa superbe silhouette !

I was actually thinking the opposite. I don't think her short hair is flattering. The black scarf thing hanging down in front is silly and her huge wide pants look rather clownish.

@Anon 17:54 I agree with you. I think she looks very sharp and very much on trend. I also think that her look is elevated because she chose black and white. Her jacket/blazer fits very well and it is a low cut, hence (possibly) the scarf.

It's probably fashion these days, but I don't like many of the wide, short sleeves I see royals wearing these days. When one has a (very) slender figure, these sleeves make the upper torso too bulky compared to the lower body in my opinion.

Colour of the dress QL's wearing is beautiful and suits her, but the white shoes are not ones I would have chosen colourwise.

Beautiful dress for Queen Letizia--red is a wonderful color for her. Not a fan of those white shoes though--wish she had worn a nude pair. Janet

@Mabel, respectfully disagree with your assessment, this dress has a top quality fabric, and impeccable design and finish. I checked on te website a long time ago. Liking it or not is a matter of taste, but CH doesn’t do cheap.

  10. This is a beautiful dress, the sleeves are interesting, different. Her shoes and clutch, look beige on my screen? The b/white outfit worn by the lady on the left is chic and on trend, very stylish.

I do love both : the red dress QL wears
And also the black & white outfit the Minister of Science & Innovation is wearing. She did innovate her outfit !!!! Love her hairstyle too.

Sometimes I have the impression that a lot of bloggers are against all the new things one can see every day in the world of fashion. Not everything is beautiful, but from time to time one must be in for new things and try something that easily can be changed afterwards in case we don't like it after all..

You are so right. There is a core group of commenters that seem stuck in a time of fashion that they can't move past, or are not aware of fashion trends at all. It is the same for some with hair styles. It is always okay not to like something, but at least give it a chance and always understand time marches on. ~d

I do not like the combination with the white shoes and clutch. Nude would have been better. CC
