  1. That´s a power suit. I´m not a fan of hot pink, and there´s a lot of it in this suit, but I still like it. The fit is superb, the styling is neat, and the white blouse balances out the pink nicely. In this instance, I actually think that the high neck blouse works better than a simple round-neck style top (which I´d normally advocate for to go with blazers), because the pink really needs a bit more colour as a counterweight. Together with the bag, it looks well put together, and the piping on the blouse tie in the dark shoes as well.
Since it´s spring, I say this suit rocks.

Mette-Marit´s long vest is not to my taste, stripey or not, but I like her wine red trousers with the white blouse.

These for young royals seem to have so much fun together, it´s great to see.

      Vanessa
I have read somewhere that the two couples are close friends in private life so this can explain why they can interact in such an easy- going way and why they seem to have so much fun together even on this official visit.

I think Victoria's hairstyles, which she modifies from time to time, are better than Mette-Marit's (bad color & always roots showing). At least Victoria's hair is up & out of the way, which I assume is how she prefers it. *Regina

    3. Victoria hairstyle is her trademark. It's austere and professional, and it might not be as glamorous as a long floating hair, but with her personality, it feels very regal.
And I love that she is different from all the other royal ladies.

CP Victoria : love the pant suit. The color suits her it is also one of her mother's favorite colors.
CP MM : I do like sleeveless coats, but not this one and not like it is worn here by MM. The white blouse is O.K. The wine red trousers do not match the coat nor are the cognac shoes.
At least it looks like they have a good time together.

MM pants are much lighter then these photos shows. They are red, not wine.

Love the color of CP Victoria's suit--can't wait until this boxy look goes out of fashion--and she looks wonderful. CP M-M is off the mark this time in her sleeveless trench coat. It looked better with the navy dress. Janet

Uppps ... someone "borrowed" my nickname. You must be a very sad and lonely person. Sorry that you are doing some kind of childishness. I thought it was a fashion blog ... I guess I was wrong.

I think CPV’s pantsuit is a wonderful, flattering style. The colour is definitely memorable, but she can carry it off. The sleeveless trench that CPMM is wearing is interesting and coordinates well with her trousers, but it would probably look better fastened than it does hanging loose. These two couples seem to have such great rapport - it’s good to see. (V.M.)

Totally agree with you, V.M.; don't understand why CPMM doesn't wear the sleeveless trench fastened as the fabric of it appears not to be fit to be worn loose.

Victoria looks very chic in her pink suit and white blouse. I like her hair with the middle part. Her earrings are pretty too. I'm not fond of Mette-Marit's sleeveless striped coat. If it were a waistcoat I might like it better, or if the fabric was softer, but the bright horizontal stripes are jarring. But, the four of them seem to be having a great time together. I think Victoria and Haakon are cousins.

  9. CP Victoria looks great in this pink pantsuit, it fits her well. MM looks lovely, but I am not a fan of the horizontal stripes regardless it blends in with what she is wearing.

    PINK, very pink.
I like the pink pantsuits just worn by Madeleine and Marie, but Victoria's is TOO 'hot' pink after my taste.

Victoria looks wonderful in pink. Very eyecatching color and the fit is great. Her hairstyle makes her look younger. She's lately been on the roll with her fashion choices and hairstyles. Please continue!
Mette Marit looks also lovely in her long vest and glad she could accompany Haakon on this trip.
It's heartwarming to see so much closeness and rapport between future monarchs of Norway and Sweden!

The cyclamen colour of Victoria's suit is stunning and fits her beautifully.
Mette- Marit is a gorgeous lady but this long striped vest does not favour her smashing figure.
Love her blonde and curled hair.

  13. Oh dear God, it's the carpet coat again for Mette-Marit. I really love her, but this coat doesn't do her any favours. Victoria looks great, though, not everybody can pull off a suit in hot pink! Or is it a mauve-ish purple?

I enjoy seeing these two couples together. They are friends, and it shows, so no matter what they wear fashion wise, their friendship shines brightest. Anne
