On April 7, 2022, Danish Princess Benedikte opened Museum Sønderjylland's new jewellery exhibition titled "Macabre Masterpieces", which is displayed in the museum's premises situated at Sønderborg Castle. The new special exhibition is displayed in five rooms in the western wing of the castle and the chapel of the castle, that is, Queen Dorothea’s Chapel.
The exhibition has been created jointly by Museum Sønderjylland, jeweller Bodil Binner and royal jewellery curator Nina Hald. It explores the subject of death by historical and royal jewellery and precious art objects, contrasted with recently-made, contemporary works by Danish as well as international jewellers.

Dans les années soixantes j'ai reçue une fois une petite boule de vison d'une tante. J'étais gaminne et très fière de porter cette petite boule sur le col de mon manteau d'hiver.
