Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia's Foundation (Prins Carl Philips och Prinsessan Sofias stiftelse)

Yesterday, on April 12, Tuesday, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia attended a meeting of their own foundation named Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia's Foundation (Prins Carl Philips och Prinsessan Sofias stiftelse) at the Royal Palace. The couple shared a photo taken at the meeting on their @prinsparet Instagram account.

Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia's Foundation was established after the wedding of Prince Carl Philip of Sweden and Miss Sofia Hellqvist. The foundation focuses on issues relating to safer everyday online life for young people and greater respect and understanding for people with dyslexia.

  1. Una bella coppia, mi piace Sofia vestita così.
E mi piace molto il sorriso di Carlo Filippo, un selfie riuscito bene!

There's a war in Ukraine, and here's a selfie. I just don't know what to say. Sofia fought for migrants in 2015. And now there is war and what is she doing ?? Maybe she should take an example from Poland?

How about you stop behaving as if they're dancing on the graves of the dead and read what they have actually done? They had a meeting for their Foundation which has a charitable purpose and shared a photo not a selfie!

Some people look for the slightest opportunity to criticise others even they have done absolutely nothing wrong.

Would you prefer they hire a photographer? I think you got stuck on the selfie and forgot to keep reading. There was a purpose for the meeting, and these meetings always seem to be documented with a photo. No one has forgotten there is a war. The war does not mean that all business around the world must stop. It means that the countries around the world and their people are now focused on even more. ~d

There is always a war somewhere. What do you suggest Sofia would/should do? She is not the monarch. Poland is right next door to Ukraine; Sweden isn't. There are selfies are coming out of Ukraine not war-related. We go about our daily lives. Don't worry though; things will soon get worse with all the shortages. Get ready!

Other than that, Sofia is dressed nicely casual but her shoes are barely visible except for the dark toe cap. I hope she takes note of how they photograph.

No, maybe they should reflect on how Sweden handled a pandemic, letting die thousand people...

Anon 20:58 - Sweden acted sensibly, more people died per capita in other countries. Sweden was vilified for not going along with the Covid agenda. And Sweden ditched the masks earlier, which is what most of the rest of the world is now doing, including mine (pretty much all our restrictions are GONE). *Regina

@regina :maybe you should have a look at the report published by Humanities & Social Sciences Communications - Nature... Sweden has totally failed in fighting the pandemic, and what is terrible are the methods... Kids used to infect, older people in nursing home let die because considered too weak.... Is this "acting sensibly"???

  3. Princess Sofia's outfit is casual but fashionable. She is lovely. The other ladies look very nice too. The very handsome Prince Carl Philip appears to have taken the photo with his phone. How cool is that?

The most physically beautiful Royal family in Europe overall are the Swedes, imo.

Probably also the most irresponsible (see the failing strategy against Covid).

Right, because the Swedish royal family coordinated the country's Covid strategy...🙄

Also totally irrelevant to this post or indeed, anything posted on this blog.

      Out of reality as usual...

Nice way to represent their country.

  6. Princess Sofia has worn this type of combination before.
Blouse/shirt hanging out, black jumper and slim fitting pants.
As it seems to fit in well with the dress tenue of the other ladies, then, why not?

Young outfit and appropriate for Princess Sofia.
The topic "safer every day online life for young people" is a good cause of her and Prince Carl Philip and is becoming very important these days. Every day you read in the media with what vulgarity, bad proposals, prostitution, etc... young people are confronted on their smart phone and laptops. There is a lot of bad things that are going on in the world these days. A difficult education job for parents and teachers to prepare young people and learn them how to protect themselves against all this.

    Dear Helen,
I think Olena from Poland her comments should not be published anymore on this blog. It has nothing to do with fashion and she should inform herself better of what every European country is doing to help the refugees and Ukraine. The kind of comments she spreads are helping those who didn't donate and did not send food and goods to Poland to help the refugees. It is not very encouraging for the bus drivers who went to Poland and other East European countries to evacuate Ukranian people to West-European countries.

If she is Ukrainian herself than I do not understand why she is attacking people of countries that helped her people a lot. If she thinks that is going to help the good cause she is completely wrong. What is she trying to achieve ? I hope she reads this comment and make her conclusions !
I hope she reads the comments of the other bloggers like G. and -d and Cherry too and stops attacking the West European nations which are caring and donating and volunteering to help where they can. The government of my country reserved a big amount of money to help Ukraine now and in the future. Who do you think is going to pay for this, the tax payers, like me and my family and my neighbours and friends, the common people. And we do this because we are confronted every day in the media with the atrocities that are going in your country. I would like to hear your comments on this Olena. Take care.

I am not attacking Sweden or any other country. There are just people who want to help us. Sofia wanted to help in 2015 but now says nothing about it. Not doing anything. Besides the selfie.

Still not a selfie Olena. Still a meeting for a charitable foundation. Still other people needing help - it is possible to be concerned about the war in Ukraine as well as other people needing help and support.

@Olena, I have been trying to avoid commenting on attacks targeting public figures, but virtue signaling behind you keyboard is just wrong. Since this war started, not to mention the atrocities that are happening every day around the world, did you stop living your life, celebrating your family, enjoying the company of friends, and being thankful for your blessings? This woman has a Royal agenda and she has to do it just as I have to do my job, does that mean that she doesn’t care about the war? How do you figure that? Most of us can walk and chew gum rapt the same time, we can perform our daily tasks without stopping to care. Perhaps you should stop reading and writing on this blog, which is basically entertainment and dedicate your time to help the world volunteering, donating and trying to resolve the world conflicts, in the meantime stop judging and critiquing people that you know nothing about. If you think your comment makes you look empathetic, it does exactly the opposite.

  14. Love Sofia's look--fashionable as well as comfortable. She really looks wonderful. C-P is looking handsome (as always). I love the idea of using a selfie to show a photo of their mtg because one of the tasks of their foundation is online safety.

  15. Some bloggers here do not seem to know that Prince Carl Philip suffers from dyslexia. The couple’s foundation is therefore a very logical cause. Princess Sofia is in black and white and is representing the Swedish royal family in a very worthy way. Criticism is illogical.

Yes I know that but I would not mention it. Carl-Gustav also suffered from this condition when he was a young man. So it must be hereditary. If I remember correctly Carl-Gustav has been following a special program when he was young to coop with this condition.

Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia's foundation is a wonderful platform to bring awareness to online bullying and dyslexia. Causes that have directly affected both of them in some way. Carl Philip and members of his family have dyslexia and Sofia has been directly affected by online bullying when she first started dating her prince. So very happy they are working through their foundation to help others in the same situation that they were in. Wonderful couple. They look like a professional working couple. Love Sofia's top.

Olena, you seem to have a problem comprehending the English language, your desire to attack people goes as far as to lash out to the ones supporting your comments. Perhaps you should be worrying about what’s going on in your country and not lecturing people that are only trying to escape the daily drill even for a few minutes, it doesn’t reflect well on you, and going on a fashion blog only to make baseless accusations just diminishes the actual tragedy.

Patty18 is correct. This is a FASHION blog and nobody here wants to read endless petty, non fashion related sniping. Please be courteous and take it elsewhere so that those of us who come here to talk about fashion are not subjected to it.

    Thank you.

This is a free blog. Whoever can come and write about whatever. This is is how are made social.
If you dont accept matters that you don't want to hear you must find a closed place which is restricted to only registered members.

And even so you could find "sniping" as you call it.

    Thank you.
