Pretty in pink for Queen Silvia! What a beautiful gown. And that first picture of her looking at the king--beautiful and full of love. Seems Sofia has lightened her hair--its quite flattering. Not sure about Sofia's gown--just cannot tell from the photos. The picture of the model shows a gorgeous but very simple gown. I do like the neckline detail. Given Sofia has a wonderful figure the gown probably looks marvelous on her in person. Janet

They're such an Elegant family, I truly adore them. Specially Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia; they are such a cute couple.
Long Live The King and His beautiful Queen.

Oh my...Princess Sofia's hair and colouring looks fantastic. What a huge difference! I don't much care for her choice of dress, and even less for the handbag and shoes but from the neck up her look is fantastic. Well done.
Queen Sylvia's dress looks dated but she still looks good in it and it fits her well. I like that it is bright and colourful for this time of year.

Sofia could have worn her hair up or partly up to highlight the
beautiful detail at the neckline. Q Silvia killing it, per usual. What a gorgeous color on her.

  5. Queen Silvia looks lovely in this vivid gown, another great fit. By the look of it, the color of her scarf matches the evening clutch, nice!. I am not a fan of the fabric or pattern of this gown, regardless the Queen looks well groomed. Love the pearl necklace, not sure if the earrings are stones?
The jury is out on Pss Sofia's gown, I'm not quite sure what it is?

In my opinion, blonde is not a good color for Sofia. Dark hair is much better for her.

I really like Princess Sofia hairstyle (braid) and black colour from Aret med kungafamiljen 2014. I miss her very own style.

Ok anon 30/4/22 17:09. You seem to be obsessed with me and my initials because you now write your name "HJ, the original". You can have that nick. I don't want to be a part of your childish game. You are just bullying me for some unknown reasons because you really do not know anything about me and who I am. I just feel sorry for you because you have to be a very unhappy and lonely person. And you don't like Sofia, but I do like her, very much.

The dress looks better on model than Sofia.

I don’t like either of the dresses. Just wanted to say the lighter hair colour suits princess Sofia so much better.

Not one of the best gala dresses I've seen QS worn: the neckline somehow doesn't work and QS's waist disappears. The print is so, so, but for me unexpectedly the colours combine rather well. The queen's jewelry's beautiful.

PS looks stylish and her new hair colour suits her. In my opinion her dress should have been a tiny bit longer.

Both ladies look lovely - I really like the Queen's gown and Sofia looks good. I especially like the lighter hair.

  12. Ravissantes toutes les deux même si la robe de la reine aux couleurs vives convient bien à sa silhouette ; petit changement dans la couleur de cheveux de Sofia que je préfère au naturel !

Both ladies look just fine. Nothing wow or special. I do like Sofia's hair color, looks very natural and beautiful. And as someone said before she looks very good from the neck up, but I also do like the upper part of her qown.

Queen Silvia is beautiful in her rose (red?) and orange gown. The fabric looks rather heavy and I wonder if it is a brocade, or, perhaps, embroidery on satin. At any rate, the colors are perfect for the Queen. Although her pearls are pretty, they are barely visible from a distance. Wouldn't rubies be fantastic? I like Sofia's highlighted hair. While I think her gown is pretty with the silver and pearl trim, and matching shoes, black seems too somber for this event. But, she looks lovely. As always, King and Prince Carl Philip look very handsome.

Queen Sylvia's dress fits very well. I don't like the fabric but the shape of the dress is very lovely. Princess Sofia's dress is looking very good. The contrast between her blond highlights and the black of her dress looks wonderful. Love the embellished neckline too. Her make-up is soft and beautifully done. Queen Sylvia should also try some lighter color for her hair not much just a few highlights to make the hairdo softer. Her make-up also should be softer. I don't like very red lipstick for older ladies (Queen Margrethe too red, Queen Sylvia too red, Queen Elisabeth too red, Princess Ann too red and there are probably more). The skirt of Princess Sofia's dress looks fuller on the model. It looks like there has been used less fabric to make Princess Sofia's dress.

    1. I am afraid I agree with you. Those puff top sleeves are not so flattering either on her. I imagine the dress has been designed to wear with some superb royal jewels like ruby's but as worn now it is a big no for me.
