Dress and shoes are sleek and tasteful. The fur collar on the cape is just too high and is choking her.

    1. No es demasiado alto, es que lo lleva subido porque está el día frío y húmedo, así que no, no la asfixia.

Agree with you, Mrs Cleaver; apart from the high fur(?) collar of the cape, I don't like its colour in combination with the colour of the dress.

How is it "choking" her? The neck-warmer looks cozy & comfortable. Seeing photos of other royal women, I don't understand warm coats, gloves & hats while having bare legs, the cold certainly travels up into the body. Dark tights would have fit the occasion of cool rainy weather, maybe check the weather forecast or look out the window next time. *Regina

    4. Angie , estoy de acuerdo contigo . Hace frío y con la lluvia apetece la capa con su cuello de piel. Está guapísima.

  3. This outfit looks stunning, chic, subtle, stylish and elegant. I love this dress, the Queen has the same style in red, equally lovely. The style and fit of this dress is perfect, the length, perfect. The shoes are gorgeous, I would so love these in my wardrobe!. The aqua and diamond earrings are beautiful.
P.S The King looks very debonair and suave. He looks so handsome .

  4. Quelle élégance dans cette tenue très stylée - D'habitude, je ne suis pas trop pour le port d'une cape mais là, j'aime beaucoup ce modèle original à col en fourrure ; magnifiques ses boucles d'oreilles !

  5. Love this cape, so elegant and chic. Those shoes are fantastic as well. Such a classic sheath dress, of course it fits like a glove. Beautiful look.

    1. I fully agree with Chel, no objection to the false (? presumably) fur collar on the cape; it all fits so nicely together. Wearing tights ? In principle yes, but so much against her usual personal choices.

QL looks stunning in this royal blue dress. She has an amazing taste. "Less is more" is her adagium it seems. At the same time looking very "petite" next to this giant husband

It is already said. Cold and rain in Spain too. At least wear tights. I do not understand what it is these days with young women. There are tights that almost cannot be seen. Of course again it is not cheap and you don't find them in the supermarket, but in the better lingerie shops. If I can find it the royal ladies can find it too and in general have a bigger budget for clothes than the average civilian. I have 1 pair of special tights in my closet for a special occasion, just in case.

Letizia is dressed beautifully today. I also like the king in his old fashion suit and with a walking stick. He looks very handsome. The prime minister (If that is what I think he is) who is next to Letizia on picture N° 2,3,4 is also a very handsome man. A pity his pants doesn't fit well because too long.

    1. Anon 16.30 King Felipe is not using a cane It's the mayor's baton and represents the political power people gave him after he got democratically elected. Wherever King Felipe is, he's the "most powerful" authority so, during the time he's visiting Alcalá de Henares officially, the mayor gives him the baton, meaning King Felipe rules over the city. Every mayor has one of those but not all of them bother to give King Felipe the baton in every visit, after all, we all know he's the Head of State

    2. Anna B, la info que das es buena y puede ser interesante para los no españoles, pero ¿le has pedido permiso a Iselén para calcar sus palabras? Espero que sí...

Thx Anna B for this interesting information. I didn't know that. In fact I think it is the 1st time I see King Felipe with such a "baton".

  8. Gorgeous dress which fits absolutely perfectly as usual. Love the cape, including the fur collar and the shoes. It's a faultless outfit in my view.

  9. Just so elegant.
I prefer her hair like this, the other day half up and half down, not her best look.
She is just so lovely, Spain is lucky to have such a beautiful Queen.
