On 27 March 2022, Queen Margrethe, Princess Benedikte and Queen Anne-Marie presented the Queen Ingrid's Honorary Scholarship for the tenth and final time, with a party performance in the Amalienborg Palace. The performance was funded by Royal Mediation Fund, VisitDenmark and Wonderful Copenhagen.

"The Palaces Dance" was the title of the command performance consisting of four ballet pieces adapted to the very different expressions of the four great halls. Soloist and choreographer Tobias Praetorius created the dances, while Karsten Fundal composed the music. Both are former recipients of the scholarship.

After the performance, the winners of this year's scholarships were received by the royals at a dinner at Christian VII's Palace. The scholarships, which are donated by the Oak Foundation and have been handed out every other year since 2005, aim to promote further studies and training in dance and music.

Princess Benedikte always strikes me with her elegance and posture. This dress looks very lovely and I really like its color. And she rocks her short grey hair. And what a pleasure to see three of them together.

Princess Benedikte is the most elegant of the three sisters. Less is more. Then comes Queen Anne-Marie. Queen Margrethe is the last in the row. The color of her dress is OK. But there is too much dress. It looks like she copied a dress that queens and princesses wore in the 18th century.

As always: the Queen of Queens!
Princess Benedicte: beautifull colour and style of dress.

  7. How fabulous to see the three sisters together in all their finery. They look wonderful. Princess Benedikte is, unsurprisingly, the most elegant but I really like Queen Anne Marie's dress. The colour of Queen Margrethe's dress is great and suits her perfectly. Lovely photos.

Someone should tell you that as a woman in her 80s she's free to wear exactly what she pleases.

  9. How wonderful all 3 sisters look and how wonderful they are together for this final presentation of their mother's award! Queen Margrethe is lovely in her coral pink ball gown--I love that she is wearing her Daisy pin, gifted to her by her mother, Queen Ingrid, from the collection of her own mother, Crown Princess Margaret of Sweden. The ball gown might be a repeat but it is perfect for HM. Queen Anne Marie looks lovely in her dark blue gown--the shirred bodice and draping is very flattering as well beautifully done. Lastly, Princess Benedikte--stunning and so chic in her column-like gown. The color is perfect for her with her beautiful silver hair. She is always so elegant and she reminds of Queen Ingrid the most of the 3 sisters.

  11. Pss Bene, IMO looks outstanding. A simple, subtle but very elegant gown, with her height she carries this gown superbly. The color is stunning. The simple diamond and sapphire brooch on her shoulder is perfect. That sapphire is a marvellous size. Beautiful diamond necklace, pearl drop earrings, and diamond bracelet, splendid. The style of her hair and natural color is fabulous.
Queen Anne Marie's dress is nice, but I don't like the shiny fabric. Her jewel choices are perfect. Queen Margrethe's dress suits her beautifully.

Princess Benedikte always looks classy and up to date with her style. The Queen's hairdo and gown look a little dated, and Queen Anne-Marie was in a beautiful dark navy gown that defied any era, and looked lovely.

Princess Benedikte was my favorite look of the day. jj

Queen Anne Marie should have been in yellow. Queen Ingrid gave each of the daughters a color to things ❤️💙💛. We saw the colors used for the flowers on the wreaths laid at the tombstone of their parents on the occasion of QM's 50th jubilee in January.

  14. Queen Margrethe always looks so cheerful. I cannot say I am fond of her choice of gown, however Her Majesty has a love of the arts, be it painting, dance or theatre so in my opinion this gown is very, very Queen Margrethe.

Princess Benedikte is elegant as always.

Lovely to see the three sisters together.

So lovely to see the three sisters in an event together, each looking beautiful and wearing an outfit expressing of their personalities.
I will just add that my absolute fave/love is the deep purple ‘50’s dress and black heels of the guest in picture 4.
