Green/blueish dress looks great on QM: excellent fit and length in a colour which suit her well.

From what I can see from the second outfit , in my opinion the skirt is too short and not of a good model for QM. Next to this I feel the jacket requires a top without a collar in a more outstanding colour.

  2. Love the aqua color of Mathilde's dress. I see that a very wide belt is worn with the dress but, when standing, the bouquet of flowers presented to her, hide her midsection. The length of the dress is perfect for her, the earrings are gorgeous, and her nude shoes were a good choice. Her hair and makeup are nicely done.

At her second appearance, I love the Armani jacket. In my opinion, the queen would have looked magnificent with a longer, slimmer skirt. Even with the too-short skirt, she looks beautiful, and poised, as always.

  3. The turquoise dress looks beautiful on her. I'm not a fan of the second outfit. As Debra said, a slimmer skirt like a pencil skirt would have looked much better with the shiny jacket. The full skirt makes the outfit look childish. Although I'm an admirer of Queen Mathilde's, I've never liked her hairstyle. I think it looks puffy, like a helmet and ages her. Something softer and more natural would look so pretty on her.

I don't care for her hairstyle either. I think it ages her. It wouldn't take much to update it. ~d

The green/blueish dress is a rewair. The first time QMathilde wore this dress the skirt was an A-line. It seems to me that the skirt has been changed and is more fluent now.
The dress that she is wearing with the Armani blazer is new. Yes it is a dress and not a skirt and the colour goes well with the blazer. I don't know the designer of the dress but I do know that for the spring-summer fashion 2022 it is a trend to wear shorter dresses and skirts again. We must wait if this new length will be a succes or that women will continue to wear their old long prairie dresses.

    1. Thank you for this interesting information. Personally I really like the dress under the Armani jacket. It is less obvious and more youthful.

  6. Lovely dress. The blazer for the second event is nice but a simple top would be better than the shirt. The length ?? an endless subject; I think she can still have this length if she likes it. Short skirts are attractive, even if not matching some strict elegance criteria. Yes to the idea of a pencil skirt.

  7. The dress is really lovely, it suits the Queen beautifully. The blazer is smart, but the skirt is a no for me, a straight skirt or pants would have been a better option, regardless she looks beautiful.

Beautiful shade of blue/green that accentuated the Queen's lovely skin. The neckline was flattering and the wide belt did not detract from the dress. Could not quite see the overall sleeve, but it did not detract from the overall look. The jewelry purse and shoes were a nice addition. The King looked better than other looks recently in a lighter color suit. Elena
