  1. So good so see The Queen at her duties- what a beautiful treasure she is. Lovely gold dress and brooch- I think it is the gift brooch from Singapore, the Singapore Shield Brooch. Lovely with her dress, silvery hair and gorgeous pearls.

Both ladies are very nicely dressed.
I love the queen's dress. It's hard to tell but it looks like woven wool, and appears to have a seam down the front. Both the fabric texture and the seam add interest to a simple style, and the fabric's colour pairs beautifully with the pearls.
Ms. Nichols also has a nice outfit. The skirt pairs well with the cream jacket and without the scarf obscuring the front, I think the outfit looks quite smart.
    Well done to both women.

A totally different dress from the Queen who we see mostly in very strong colors.
This one suits her complexion and haircolour very well.
I admire her taylor: it asks very good craftsmanship to make clothes for elderly women.

  5. The Queen looks fabulous. I don't think I've seen this dress before and I love it! The color goes well with her pearls and her hair, and it fits perfectly. This two-stranded creamy pearl necklace is quite a bit longer than some of others she wears, and it shows up better. Ms. Nichols ensemble is beautiful too. Congratulations to her.

  6. HM looks lovely in this boucle wool/knit dress--seems to be cream but perhaps with gold threads. The simple but elegant detail running down the center of the dress gives a very simple dress that extra something. I like how well fitted this dress is too--given how frugal HM is I think Angela Kelly and her staff have been very busy with alterations. I wish I could see her gold brooch better but looks perfect against the fabric. Ms. Nichols looks wonderful--I especially love her scarf/pashmina/wrap. It is beautiful.

  7. Elégante petite robe qui étoffe un petit peu la silhouette menue de la Reine ; magnifiques perles de son collier mais il est dommage de ne pas mieux voir sa broche !

  8. The Queen looks lovely in this dress very elegant, also the fit is a lot better than some of late, due to her weight loss.
Grace Nichols also very elegant, they complement each other perfectly.

I agree with all - both women look lovely. The Queen's dress has especially gotten my attention. Even at her age, she updates her style slightly with time. She has been advised well. I have so much admiration for this lovely lady. ~d

  10. The Queen looks wonderful, this dress is fabulous. I love it, the colour, gorgeous. The style, fabric, and cut of the dress, fits well. The longer strand of pearls work in very well with the dress. She looks terrific.

      Ava and ~d

I agree with both of you.
Yes, she does look terrific despite her being so frail and she knows how to update her style with time.
She makes my day every time I see her.

The Queen, gets it right all the time, well 99.99% of the time. :) Lovely, still doing her duties even though health issues are creeping into her life. Most of us have these issues, since covid began, our lifestyles were curtailed so much that it is difficult to get back into the swing of everyday life. God Bless the Queen. Elena
