Martha Louise--no. no, no. The picture of ML in the sweater wearing jeans is perfect. The idea to wear it with a tulle layered full length skirt--and tucked in too--is awful. Leah looks lovely.

I think her outfit is supposed to look artistic. From a distance she makes me think of an old fashion lamp (lampadaire - I don't know the exact translation in English).

The sweater is from her own brand. She have been a part of making these clothes. Why do you always take clothes so seriously? Clothes can also be funny and make you feel good. ML doesn't take this seriously so why should we? I think she is a fresh breath among all these boring royal twins.
ردحذفI don’t think anybody is taking this as a serious matter, it’s just an exchange about fashion, which is what the blog focuses on. You like it and I respect your opinion, the same way you define it as a breath of fresh air, my definition is more like a ridiculous choice, the mix of textures, and styles doesn’t work, and is very unflattering. See, we can all opine without throwing darts to opposite views.

ردحذفPrincess Märtha Louise came out with a knitting book about a year ago, and there are collectins to be bought in stores too of the sweaters and other products. The brand name is Hést, hence the letter H in her sweater.

The skirt she can donate to a local carnival association but not in public anymore!

I'm joining the minority team - I like it. I like both pieces separately and I like the combination although tucking the heavy sweater in does make her look thicker round the waistline. She's having fun - its whacky fashion not just clothes combined in a safe way.
