I find myself thinking that as much as I love Kate I feel like her outfits on tour start to border a bit on the campy side as if she is trying to dress how she thinks people dress in particular countries but her efforts come off looking like she is wearing a costume. I've had he same thought when she has been on other tours. Going back and looking at some of Princess Diana's tours I don't get the same feel and while I hate to compare them I sometimes feel like Kate's clothes wear her whereas Diana wore her clothes. That being said, I have enjoyed seeing Kate wear different styles on this trip especially that vintage dress the other day and after seeing her in this white pantsuit I think she should wear more pantsuits. She is going to be a wonderful queen someday and oh how I envy her hair. Michelle

I will agree that I think Kate dresses how she thinks she is expected to dress, but I think she does that in the UK. We have all seen what her style was before her marriage, and she was not a Peter Pan collar, coat dress wearing woman before. I think she shows respect by adapting to the costume of each country. Maybe we see it differently because she has been so loyal to her style while on official engagements that it feels off when she varies her wardrobe. ~d

    Duchess Catherine is blooming.
Wow. Smile, confident and beautiful. I don't recognize her in this white suit. Perfect.

  3. This is a beautiful, elegant, two piece suit. The jacket and pants fit well, love the splash of orange colour of the frilled neckline blouse which I love, adds interest. The orange handbag is a treat, the shoes are perfect. The Duchess looks stylish and chic.

    1. Agreed 100%. She shines in pantsuit, and this look is exceptional. The pop of orange is fantastic. Love the purse. Hope we see more of this look in the future. I certainly love the vintage we've seen too.

  5. It's a smart suit, enlivened by the orange blouse and the gorgeous vintage bag. It's a bit underwhelming compared to some of the other recent stunning outfits this tour.

Love the outfit;the handbag is also on point. The curls look great but the top of the head is flat.Duchess C atherine and P rince William great ambasadors;pity the country then talks of other things ;they invited them there. (Tara)

  7. Catherine looks wonderful! I love that she went with a bright pop of color with her white suit. The suit is so stylish--she looks so polished. I hope this a new trend for her because she really looks fabulous. Speaking of looking polished--William looks like they lost his luggage. What mess he is--and that's a new thing for him. If only he'd worn the khaki trousers he wore yesterday instead of the completely mismatched blue trousers and blue blazer. In fact, he should have repeated the suit he wore upon arrival in Belize. And, when compared with PM Holmes, William looks like a schoolboy instead of a future king.

I really like this fresh look on Kate. She looks more youthful yet very professional for her speech. White is a good color on her, and I am loving the bright pops of color she has been wearing. Orange can be a tough color to pull off, but she does it. I like that she is not wearing a collared shirt, keeping the look a little more fun. The cherry on top is the vintage mid-century bag. It is fantastic. I am over clutches for these daytime events, and this raffia and beaded bag has personality. What I do not like are the shoes. It is not only my personal dislike of white shoes, but I think too much white in general. Since there is a brown handle on the bag, possibly something in that direction, but not too dark. ~d

Lovely outfit, clearly suits her and she wears the clothing, my like her mother in law, Princess Diana 'wore' her clothes, though she did have some strange things, such as the red/white poka dot socks she wore one time (Diana), not Catherine.

Let's hope they don't. They don't need anything to shake their confidence, especially over issues they are not responsible for and have no control over.

Fashion-wise I'm loving everything DoC is wearing, but her hair is lacking its usual bounce. I'm wondering if this is due to the humid tropical weather, or if she's changed the hair products she's using. I've observed in the past that sister Pippa's hair has often looked over-conditioned resulting in a flat appearance. S.M.

Another wonderful look from the Duchess. Lovely classic trouser suit that fits her well, orange blouse give touch of color and enliven her look.
Her hair look amazing, so thick, shiny and healthy.
I've enjoyed seeing this couple more and more. They look engaged, interested and seem to enjoy what they do.

Maybe an orange accent on the jacket would have solved 'this issue'
