  2. IMV Maxima wears trousers and a blouse, there is a difference in color between the two pieces, and today is probably a day where she has extensions. She looks lovely. I would not say the same about the decoration of the room.

    1. I have never been mad about that DNA wall paper in that room bu I think I would have liked it much better if the sofa an lamps had been more modern. Now I just get a 50's vibe and it looks what we call in Dutch "oubollig."

  4. Always good to see Queen Maxima--looking great here, albeit in a very tame (for her!) outfit.

    1. @Annie M : Yes it is a tame outfit for Queen Maxima.
But she plays cat and mouse with us.
Wait and see what she'll wear tomorrow.
p.s. love the decor in the room.

Isn't that the famous DNA-tapestry? I think it works very well as a decorative pattern too. Modern and interesting. M and W-A look fine as well.

  6. I love these rich colours the Queen wears, they suit her beautifully. I think she is wearing pearl drop earrings but cannot be sure, divine.

  7. Forgot to mention in my comment that Maxima and Willem-Alexander have just celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary.
Perhaps one of our bloggers who is a numerologist could tell us if there is anything interesting relating to the date of their marriage, which is, 02/02/2002 ???

    1. So, if you put all the figures together, you get ........
20 (for the marriage) then 02/02/2002.

The walls make me dizzy. At least today her hair is presentable, and the outfit not too over the top.
