Today, on February 6, 2022, Princess Marie celebrates her 46th birthday. Marie was born on February 6, 1976 in Paris. Princess Marie is Danish Prince Joachim's wife. The couple has two children, that is, Henrik and Athena. Princess Marie is also the stepmother of Nikolai and Felix who were born during the first marriage of Prince Joachim. Prince Joachim and Princess Marie arrived in Copenhagen yesterday to attend Crown Princess Mary’s birthday party. Princess Marie and Prince Joachim and the couple’s two children reside in Paris.
A very beautiful princess. I hope she has a wonderful birthday and does not feel overshadowed by the celebrations surrounding CP Mary.
ردحذفWhy should she feel 'overshadowed'? She is not a child. Marie for me seems to be a rather introvert person who does not seek public attention anyway. And anybody can understand that the 50th birthday - which is a milestone - of a crownprincess gets more attention in the public. I am sure Marie had a wonderful birthday with lots of attention from her husband, her children and those dear and near to her.

CP Mary is the Crown Princess and will always command more attention due to her position within the Danish Royal Family, just as CP Frederik will always command more attend than Prince Joachim because Frederik is the heir to the throne.
Perhaps this is the reason why Joachim & Marie have decided to live in France. Marie is French, so France will always be homeland however in France they are unlikely to be overshadowed by an elder sibling and his wife.
A somewhat similar situation to another situation to another younger sibling of another Royal House and wife of a different nationality.
