The Duchess of Cornwall visited Bodleian Libraries’ new exhibition called ‘Melancholy: A New Anatomy’ at the University of Oxford. The Bodleian Library at the University of Oxford is the largest university library system in the UK. In the Library's Conservation Studio, the Duchess received information about the careful work that is carried out to restore antique books and preserve objects in the collection for current and future generations.

    2. Didn't we see this pinafore dress (robe-chasuble) last year?
      We certainly saw the boots.

As lovely as she was two days ago in her green dress with the white and green scarf as ugly she is today. On the last four pictures she took the coat off and made me think immediately of an old schoolteacher from the 50thees and 60thees.

      She isn't ugly.

Her clothes make her often ugly. When she is dressed lovely I say it too.

No, clothes or other people's perceptions of them don't make a person ugly - the person remains the same whatever they wear. You may find the clothing ugly, calling a person ugly is rude and ugly in itself.

It's always scary to see that in England Covid is apparently no longer in existence. What is going on with this government and the people? However, Camilla is, as always, a very friendly person. Frieda

Not scary at all - we're trying to get back to normal. We have to find ways to live with this. If it scares you don't come. There is nothing wrong with the people, the less said about the government the better.

Yes, Gev, you're right. That's exactly how it will turn out. These days I will finally cancel my summer holiday in Cornwall that I booked back in December 2019 and already postponed 2 times. The behaviour with the pandemic in England really scares me. It's beyond my understanding. Frieda

Yet cases are down with the R number below 1, hospitalizations are down and people are cautiously carrying on with their lives and some sense of normality.

I live here, I know what's going on. But carry on thinking there is some kind of disaster going on...
