The Duchess of Cambridge visited the Shout 85258 mental health text service in London. Shout 85258, through its 24/7 text messaging service, has been a huge contributor and consistent support for children, young people and adults during their most difficult times. 1. I really like everything about this dress. The colour, the fabric and the shape - the boots and the belt make all the difference to the look.

    1. Absolutely agree. The Duchess almost always looks good in dresses, but sometimes they make her appear really thin. This is lovely on her.

Same old style as usual but in another fabric. The boots are nice.

I like this dress for Kate. The silhouette is very flattering on her. I love that it is not too tight on the top, giving her the illusion of a more developed frame, and the skirt flares out just the right amount to give her shape. So often her dresses and skirts are too long for my taste, but this is at the sweet spot. The olive color looks beautiful on her, and leopard looks great on just about everyone if the print is done well. This print is very sophisticated. The belt is necessary for her, helping to give her the shape she needs. Her boots are the perfect finishing touch. The only thing I would change is her hair. The color doesn't look rich enough. It is looking brassy and could use fresh color, plus a good chop. ~d

About the Duchess' hair: I think the brassy tones depend on the lights indoors.
If we look at the pic where she is walking in the street, her hair looks much fairer particularly in her curls,( I guess it is around 6/7 shades( in the scale of dying colours).

Adequate as a working uniform, but nothing more than that I am afraid, not a good colour for her in my opinion. Similarly to the camel-brown outfit of a few days ago this one too drags her down, giving a tired and lifeless look. Maybe she is indeed tired or just not in a super jolly mood these days and it kind of shows.... with everything that is going on within the RF who can blame her.

Personally I cannot wait for this shirt-dress trend to go back to oblivion

Fashion aside, kudos to her for continuing to support this charity.

Sorry, I cannot just see any possible connection between Catherine's dress and her mood or her feeling tired (which is your impressioni, not a fact).
Ok,the dress does not have vibrant colours and I am still asking myself how she Is coping with a cold day.
Anyway, her belt and boots are so classy and she looks really beautiful and confident.

Dress is a miss for me, just don't like it, although Kate looks great. She has many dresses of this type, almost any of those would have been better.

Not so crazy about the dress but the Duchess definitely improves it with her belt and boots- she is wearing/working the dress rather than the other way around. The coloring, hair and jewels are a nice complement too. Feels a miss but she looks good if that can even make sense.

Anyway I agree with others about her great work in keeping the SHOUT texting service in the news and highlighting it’s previous help. May SHOUT continue to serve those in need who are so special -no matter what is going on in their lives.

I don't like grunge dresses, the colour is bordering on yuck; what was her dresser thinking. Chiffon is great for a party(not this colour),but not worn out during the day. I like the top the lady is wearing in the fourth photo.(Alexandra)

      Sorry, I disagree.
Generally speaking, this kind of midi dresses are designed for daytime too, green olive and brown/grey patterns with a sort of camouflage effect being very trendy at the moment.
You can see them in several collections.
Chiffon is not an exclusive for parties.
My only quibble is that vibrant colours would be a winner for a brunette like Catherine, whereas darker tones and this pattern in particular look somewhat dull on her.
If she had worn a coat or a cape, let's say even black ones, she would have enhanced all the ensemble IMO.

This is a miss for me. Dislike the colours so much that the cut/fit get lost for me. Second miss in a row from my point of view, both bc of colours. She is certainly capable of getting a colour wheel done - it’s a small thing with a strong impact.
