The CoW's appropriately dressed for the occasion and above all involved in this important health issue.

@Tulipe; I'm not sure about your question, but if it's about my remark of being involved, the following. Healthcare around the world is in danger of succumbing to the burden of work and then it is important that there are volunteers who can jump in in extreme times of need ... the CoW is such a trained volunteer.

She put a T-shirt of St. John's above her own clothes, so nothing special to tell abouth the way she is dressed. The green of the T-shirt is a good colour for Countess Sophie.

I'm sorry that few of the discussants noticed Sophie of Wessex's birthday. I like Sophie beceause she does her job quietly, with dignity, she doesn't bring a bunch of personal photographers with her to various events and doesn't build an image through PR agencies.

      Well said indeed, Stephanie.
That's what the Countess of Wessex is, actually.
Humbleness and devotion to one' job are always rewarding.
      Happy Birthday, dear Sophie!!

@Stephanie, do you think she has a say on how many photographers show for her events?
Some Royal members sell better than others, and that is just the way they roll.

  5. Its no surprise that the Countess is volunteering on her Birthday. I have much admiration for her. She goes about her duties, with quiet determination, no fuss or fanfare, she is a great asset to the Monarchy. Happy Birthday to the Countess of Wessex

      Well said indeed, Ava.
Sophie has never looked more beautiful , just so simple ,professional and ready to help.
She does not need fanfares, fuss and bespoken dresses to shine.
