On January 12, Queen Mathilde of Belgium visited the PARTS (Performing Arts Research and Training Studios), founded by famous artist Anne Teresa, Barones De Keersmaeker. In 1995, De Keersmaeker launched in Brussels a new international school for contemporary dance, the Performing Arts Research and Training Studios, where sixty students coming from some 25 countries are trained, over a three-year period, by more than 50 teachers.

    Sorry Helen,
it is not directly comnnected with royalty, but could you please let me remember here the death of the former President of the European Parliament, Mr David Sassoli?
His state funerals are taking place in Rome on friday.
Mrs Van der Leyen and Mr Michel will be in attendance.
A good man, a statesman, always ready to help the less fortunate.
R.I.P David, you have been and still are so inspirational for all of us.
We will never forget your smile, your integrity, your devotion to your job and to your principles.
    Thank you, David.
    A tribute.

  2. Very pretty outfit that looks good on Queen Mathilda because it elongates her torso. The red accessories are cute!

  3. Love the red cape and the matching red shoes but the matching check trousers and top just look awful, I'm afraid.

    1. I like it all globally, however the blouse tucked in would be nicer, however perhaps not for Mathilde. And the black socks with the red shoes are not the best choice IMV. I prefer the earlier combination.

  4. Love the pop of red with this suit. I'm torn on the dark tights with the red shoes. But I think she looks great!

    1. I agree. The whole outfit is great. Caroline Herrera clothes are so well cut that they could look wrong but actually look stunning.

One of the best looking outfits on the queen!
I like the way it looks in the small, last photo next to the model photos. Much prefer it without dark stockings in that photo.

Queen Mathilde is looking good in this outfit. Normally she always wear natural coloured stockings with classic shoes. Perhaps she changed her mind at the last minute and changed the black shoes into red. The cape and the clutch are also in red and are matching the rest of her outfit. Caroline Herrera is a good brand for Queen Mathilde.
