Queen Mathilde of Belgium paid a visit to the non-profit association MeeGaan in Herne. During the visit, the Queen spoke with the employees, supervisors and volunteers. MeeGaan was established as a learning and employment project for people who are not (yet) able or no longer able to work in the regular labor market. At the association, people with disabilities learn to gain self-confidence from their own talents and can learn additional skills.

Fashion wise: We did not really get a good photo of her outfit, though her hair, before the 'hair cap' looked nice. The best part was the empathy shown, and the level of humility and caring of those in less fortunate situations in life. jj

  2. Beaucoup d’empathie de la part de la reine ; elle a su harmoniser avec goût le noir et le vert-bronze mais il est dommage que ses boucles d'oreilles ne soient pas mieux mises en valeur !

Queen Mathilde has worn this jacket in October 2021 to visit a hotel school in Namur. This dark green faux leather jacket makes her look young and sporty. Here it is combined with a dark green top and black pants. Her hair looks better than before with the curls turned to the inside and not to the outside.
