Prince Joachim and Princess Marie gave a special interview to the newspaper Berlingske. Berlingske's commentator on the Danish monarchy, Jakob Steen Olsen, met with the Queen's youngest son Prince Joachim and his wife Princess Marie in Paris for an interview about their life in Paris. Prince Joachim and Princess Marie will stay in Paris in the next few years. "Being sent abroad for Denmark is also royal representation," said the couple.
In the interview, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie of Denmark spoke about working and daily life in Paris. The Prince is employed as a defense attaché at the Danish Embassy. The Princess was appointed as special cultural representative for Denmark at the culture department of the embassy on October 1.

Marie looks lovely. She is very elegant. Good choice in outfit. Her role as cultural representative, I am not sure what that means & if she is employed by the embassy as well or is this a voluntary role thst is connected to the Danish embassy. Mary

ReplyDeletePrince Joachim and Princess Marie are not the first royal working for the Kingdom of Denmark at the Danish Embassy in Paris. CP Frederik did it one year back in the 90s.

ReplyDeletePrince Joachim and Princess Marie are one of my favorite royal couples, and it is good to see them so happy. Marie looks beautiful, and Joachim looks better than he has in a while. The first three pictures taken on the balcony, are wonderful.
