  1. Marselisborg Castle is a private owned castle. H.M. Queen Margrethe is the owner now.
It was giftet in 1902 when is was finished to King Christian 10. and Queen Alexandrine by the people as a wedding gift. The couple stated to use the castle as a summer residence and later it´s use as a winter residence too.

    Happy Christmas

    1. Thank you for this interesting information. I enjoy learning a little bit about some of these historic buildings and residences. It gives a good perspective on how they have survived through the decades, and in some cases, centuries.

    2. Thanks @Carl.
A bit of royal history outside of fashion is always appreciated.

  2. Isabella dresses like an older woman, hard to believe she is just a teenager.

    1. I think CP Mary is dressed as it was a New Year party and not a cosy Christmas eve together with her family.

    2. Disagree with both of you. Isabella is dressed conservatively but smartly for a formal occasion. Can't see in what way Mary's outfit looks like she's heading to a New Year's party - it really isn't that different from Isabella's.

  4. Le manteau rouge ceinturé de Mary peut montrer sa longue robe ; avec ses bottes à talons fins, c'est très élégant ; Isabella de son côté porte de ravissantes bottines ; très jolie sa chevelure !

  5. @LL, I respectfully disagree, in my view she is wearing a rather formal outfit, no cleavage, no short skirt, no sequins, no see thru material…. Besides isn’t mass, or service a celebration ? Or should one wear something ugly?

    1. So agree Janet. I love this red coat on Mary. It's winter so they have to dress appropriately. I think the whole family looks great& stylish. Very happy to see Mary is ddoing well. Mary

  7. Mary and Isabella wear beautiful coats. Queen Margrete should replace her almost white stockings by darker ones. Prince Frederik looks like he is wearing old velvet working pants. The other grandchildren are well dressed.
