  3. Elégantes toutes les trois mais en cette journée particulière, une touche de couleur aurait été des plus agréables ; peut-être que la présence de Béatrice nous l'aurait apportée !

  6. Wow, what a showing! The ladies all look beautiful, fantastic looks. Tatiana especially, probably my favorite look ever. The gentleman look handsome as well. This has to be the best they have all looked in awhile.

  7. Everyone looks wonderful! The ladies all look elegant but Tatiana is the winner here. Whatever has changed her mind about fashion I hope it continues--she has looked amazing at th National Day events this year.

  8. The dresses on this event seem very reserved and simple. I suppose in respect to Charlene's absence. I hope she gets well and finds happiness again. Jill

    1. Thanks for the link. Pretty remarkable that Albert would put out this statement, and I think what is needed more often. He hits the right balance of information and privacy.

  11. I find Carlotte's dress very unflattering, making her look 30 years older than her age. The colour, lenght, shape (or rather complete lack of shape), the material, it's just a depressing combination. I can' t understand why any woman would wear this.

  12. The top of Pss Caroline's gown is lovely, the skirt however is a fail for me. Combined with the shoes, the front straps distract from the overall look of the outfit. A different skirt, and shoes and this outfit would have taken on a whole new look. Her Sapphire jewels are gorgeous, particularly the Sapphire and diamond bracelets, they are stunning. Charlottes dress is very unbecoming, way too long, and rather shapeless. Adding the black and gold shoes with the bow at the strap, too busy and too much, with this gown.

  13. Wow!! Tatiana is the winner this time, one of her best looks so far, from boho chic to classic and glamorous. Beautiful!!

  14. Love all their dresses. Charlotte is beautiful as ever. Tatiana can be glamorous if she wants to. I like her choice and Caroline is aging gracefully. The men are so dapper.

  16. What is it these days, most of the royal ladies are dressed in black. So depressing. Queen Letizia almost only in black lately. In Monaco black during the day, black during the evening concert. CP Mary often in black too lately. And I am probably forgotten some of them.

    1. The reason they are wearing black in Monaco is because of National Day 2021! which must be a tradition. Princess Caroline also wore black to a couple other events during the National Day holiday!

    2. Going back to history: Several European monarchies has had a tradition of "court dress", i.e. all members of a court had similar (or even identical) dresses or suits. Even the colour was defined. At least in Spain and in Sweden the colour was black. As far as remember, court dress was used also in old Russia, the colour depended on the status of the person in the imperial hierarchy.
In some Scandinavian countries black dress is obligatory in certain academic (university) gala events even today. Charlotte's dress would be ideal for these academic galas.

  18. Black is elegant, but this is just too much! Caroline and Charlotte look like they took each others dresses by mistake...
