  1. MM is wearing a Giambattista Valli pussy bow midi dress not Valentino. You can see the bow in the front of her coat. Nice to see Haakon is feeling better. Looks like they are enjoying each others company and the girls are looking smashing. B.

  2. Love M.M.’s hair and make-up. She looks lovely. I like cream and blue combo. The vest/ coat isnt my favorite. Maxima’s hair is beautifully styled. The rich merlot is a gorgeous color. I don’t think she needed the cape and coat. I love the coat and a lot of the details are covered by the cape.

  3. Mette-Marit's dress and sleeveless coat are very pretty, and she looks beautiful. I like Maxima's cape and her scarf, handbag and gloves, but not fond of her shoes. I think nude heels, similar to M-M's, would be better. I was pleased to see that the men's ties coordinated with the ladies' outfits. I'm glad that Haakon is feeling better.

  4. Such lovely rich colors for autumn and flattering outfits on both ladies. I love what CP MM did with the blue long vest and cream dress. She looks lovely and it doesn’t have a bulky look. Agree about QM’s shoes but they do pick up the “sparks” on her dress- a very appropriate choice for a power station visit.

  5. Both ladies look great! Two lovely outfits in colours that are very complementary to both of them. Very nice. Happy to see Haakon with them.

  9. I´m not a fan of Mette-Marit´s long vests, I think they are rather pointless items, but this is her best attempt so far, almost making me reconsider them, and certainly enhancing her overall look this time (the white dress alone isn´t my cup of tea either). The colours are lovely however, her hair is pretty.

Maxima looks very coordinated. I like both her cape and her coat, but wonder why she wore the one over the other. I would have replaced the cape with a big woolen shawl. The coat with the stars is great, but the silver shoes are bit much for a day event.

  10. Ein ärmelloser Mantel war mir immer suspekt und ist es mir bis heute.

    1. Einverstanden; and it's even worse when dress and coat aren't of the same length ... now it gives the impression PMM wears an underskirt which is too long.

    2. Come on they all wear all the time skirt that are longer then the dress. Fashion is full of catwalk with dresses that are longer then the coat and We all do the same. MM looks great and so do Max. Stop being fashion police when this is obviously a part of fashion. Sandy.

  12. Always had a hate of pinafore dresses and ladies waistcoats so I definitely do not like Mette Marits long sleeveless coat. I wonder why Mette Marit wears white so often she looked so much better in the darker navy dress of yesterday.
Maxima looked very nicely put together other than her shoes until she removed the cape. I am not a fan of her starburst coat. I think she could lose the hat as well. She is really beginning to look silly in those little hats and compulsory gloves (because she is wearing a hat) when all the other royals no longer seem to be wearing them.
I do not understand her choice of garments and weather suitability. She arrived in cold rainy weather in a summer dress in what looked like silk shantung where all the ladies were wearing warm coats. Today when the men have only suits on and Mette Marit is relatively lightly clad she is wearing both a heavy coat and on top of that a full length cape and a neck scarf as well.

  13. MM looks so well in these photos; Nice outfit, makeup, hair, everything is well put together. Queen M's dress is an comical as the one she had on last evening with all the circles. cami

  14. Both ladies look wonderful on what appears to be a cold and rainy day. Love CP M-M's outfit--she looks wonderful in the cream and blue. Not sure why Maxina chose a cape to go over her coat--maybe it was to protect it from the rain? Still the color is lovely on her. Great to see Haakon feeling well and joining in today.
