  1. Sarah does not look good. She seems to prefer skirts way too short for her. The harsh eyebrows do not do her any favour either. Sorry to say from one redhead about the other….

    1. The cape looks good on the model but does not suit Sarah one iota. I am waiting for women to simply embrace their age & not mess up their faces. At least she is not wearing a skin-tight outfit like she has done. Poor Fergie, please leave your face alone. Beatrice looks cute in her short dress. ~Laurel~

    2. Oh no I don’t agree
She has beautiful legs for her age
      Why not show them off?
Its one of her best assets

    3. Your comment about her looks is not relevant. The article is about the cause she's standing up for.
Let's build each other up instead of pushing each other down about things that really DON'T matter.

    5. Agree. The skirt is too short (Fergie has never had the legs for short skirts) and the jacket is too busy and would look far better if worn with with a top underneath.

  3. Princess Beatrice's dress is very pretty and it is perfect for her. Princess Eugenie's dress does her no favors. While the color is nice, it is shapeless and reminds me of a dressing gown. Duchess Fergie looks good. I am not a big fan of "cape coats," but this compliments her figure very well. As always, I think her skirt is too short. The unnamed lady looks very nice in her rose colored dress and black jacket. I'd say Beatrice is the best dressed of this group.

  4. It is nice to see the Duchess of York with her daughters working together for such a good cause. I do not like the Duchess ensemble the cape coat is not very flattering and the print is too busy, a simple jacket would have been a better choice. Princess Eugenie's satin dress does nothing for her either, it is too long, has no style whatsoever, the shiny fabric and the colour is terrible. I am afraid it is a miss for Princess Eugenie. Princess Beatrice wears a simple and smart dress for the occasion.

  5. All the ladies look lovely, especially the lady in pink, but I would prefer a little bit longer skirt for the Duchess. I do like the way she styled her hair, very classy.

    1. I agree about the skirt, too short with the cape, it is my only complaint. I think otherwise, everyone looks nice.

  6. Am I wrong or has Beatrice lost weight? Her dress is pretty, but why does her sister appear in a bathrobe?

  7. Oh, while looking at the posts from yesterday I've seen only now that Eugenie obviously stole the bathrobe from Maxima...

    1. Well we all know that Queen Maxima has a big heart and a big wardrobe full of disasters.

    3. The fashion choices of theYork family never has been very good. Then I'd rather prefer a 'disaster' à la Maxima.

    4. Aha now I understand it. That's why the bathrobe/dress is so long. Maxima is a giantess and Eugenie is actually quite small. I am not sure she stole it. I think Maxima forgot it on her last visit and Eugenie found it in the Belgium suite at the palace.

    5. Nalerina, probably Maxima was even glad to get rid of it....

  9. When they were sitting down, I liked all three.
When they are standing up, the duchess is far and away the best of the three. She looks chic and stylish and her hair style, skirt length and shoes pair perfectly with her cape coat.

Beatrice's exaggerated padded shoulders and pinched waist do nothing for me and sadly Eugenie's fairly loose style dress is not suited to her current figure from what I can see in the second photo. HOWEVER...it may just be the way she is standing in the photo, and also possibly that she is wearing a bigger size than she normally would. She sure is a beautiful lady.
I love the trio of colour and texture combinations when all three are together.

  10. Good cause, but not so great in fashion: orange-colored, ill-fitting clothes seem in fashion these days, non-continuous cape coat pattern with bare arms and a slightly too short dress with ankle boots.

  11. Duchess of York: The black and white cape is looking good. It's a pity she is wearing it with a skirt or dress instead of black pants .
PEugenie : Not a good dress for anybody, too long, even a belt can't make it better.
It has the shape of an old duster.
PBeatrice : not too bad. The shoulders are too large. There are little black dresses which have a better shape.

  12. I was loving the outfits on the firsts pictures from the waist up. The full body not so much.
I like Beatrice simple black and white dress, not too original but she looks cute.
I can’t love Eugenie’s dress, it has a lingerie vibe to it, although it would have been OK as a blouse, and the color seems to flatter her.
The Duchess, would be perfect if the dress was a couple of centimeters longer, but she looks better than in most occasions.

  15. Wow! Duchess looks fabulous..I love the cape jacket, and the skirt shows off her beautiful legs. Her hair also looks great this way. Wonderful to see her and her daughters work together for this good cause.

  16. I would have liked to have seen Sarah wear a long sleeved top under her cape, like the model did. Any number of colors would have worked. I agree that her skirt is a bit too short. She has beautiful legs, so I can't blame her for wanting to show them off. This is a great example of accentuating your best features. Her hair looks great as well. Beatrice looks "cute". I think the dress comes across as a bit young for her. It does compliment her figure, however. It would be an age appropriate outfit for Lady Louise, though I can't see her wearing it. Dear Eugenie...this isn't working at all. When she was seated, I thought she was wearing a blouse. It wasn't so bad. As a dress, just no. It really does look like a dressing gown. It looks like it was altered to straighten the hem, so I wonder why it wasn't shortened a little as well. Lovely to see them together for such a worthy cause. ~d

  17. Duchess of York – I agree with one of the previous posters, the cape looks great on her but why not wear it with simple black trousers? It would have been better.

Princess Eugenie – I love her and when I saw her sitting, I thought what a nice blouse, lovely colour on her but standing up and seeing it is a dress a couple of sizes too large for her, I wonder why? These maxi dresses don't do her any favours to be honest,

Princess Beatrice – The shoulders look very exaggerated for her slight frame but otherwise a very lovely dress and she looks lovely overall.

  18. I like Sahra's hair in the up style, havn't seen her before with a simple classical bun (at least that is what it looks like). Although I do admire the coat but not the print it looks busy. In saying this I think it is her hairstyle which sets off the while look. Mary

  21. I think Princess Beatrice has really come into her own fashion wise. She seemingly discovered what suits her and is sticking with it. Sarah, as always is hit or miss. But she looks really nice in her cape coat. Eugenie is the one that I'd like to help with her clothing choices. In my opinion women look best in a sleek, fitted design - like a suit. Eugenie wears dresses that are cinched in the middle, and they just don't complement her. She's a very pretty woman working as a professional in London. She shouldn't wear fussy clothes with lace, ruffles and belts. A dropped waist or peplum would be good choices. A longer suit jacket will draw attention to her legs. A simple design might sound like less, but the person wearing it can make it look like more.

  22. I like Sarah's cloak. I think it might have been better styled with a longer skirt or trousers.
Beatrice and Eugenie look well. Motherhood suits them !
Great cause and good for them putting their names to it ! Ana

  23. Beatrice looks great, Eugenie looks as if her dress was made by Pauline Ducruet - lovely colour, don't like the fabric. Sarah - I think her jackety, capey, picnic rug affair is hideous - it makes her look really wide and boxy from certain angles and as if she's about to go galloping off into battle.
