  3. This hat model suits QM so much better than many others she wears. The lavender blue suits her very well, but I don't like the fit of the jacket and dress. As so often, she's obviously enjoying herself!

The colour of both the dress and jacket is beautiful on the president's wife, but I think the dress and jacket would benefit from being 1-1.5 inches longer.

  4. Fabulous colour wears the Queen, it makes her really sweet and soft.
This type of hat is so good on her.
Alas, her eldest son has no style at all, knows not how to dress, nor how to stand properly.

    1. Well probably you are right about her son, but I'm sure she loves him to death :-))

  5. I don't mind the colour of the Queen's outfit but I do think she looks like the governess in this outfit. The jacket doesn't quite hit the right point to be completely flattering.

The Crown Prince looks great - very handsome in his smart suit. He is even better looking with his gray hair.

    2. I agree with you Frederik looks so good in his suit, age has graced him he has always been easy on the eye.

  6. The Queen's lavender blue outfit is lovely and very flattering on her. I think the jacket looks better when it is not fastened and her hat is just perfect. I like the turquoise blue worn by Frau Steinmeier, but as MSC says, it would be better if a little longer. Chancellor Merkel does not deviate from her usual outfit, though she has clearly received the "blue" memo I will miss seeing her at formal events

  7. Queen Margrethe looks very pretty in her lilac (?) dress and hat. I particularly like the feather embellishment on the hat. The First Lady's turquoise dress and coat are very nice too. Even if a shave and a haircut is in order for Frederik, he still looks very handsome. It was good to see Mrs. Merkel, who looked very animated.

  8. Love the beautiful blue color of the suit on HM! Its a wonderful color for her. She really does look marvelous--and you can tell she is enjoying herself. CP Frederik is his usual charming, handsome self--he gets better with age!
