    1. If you notice, her hands always look overly redish, or have a blue tinge, I think she may have Raynaud's syndrome. jj

    2. The skin on her hands must be quite thin by now, hence the bluish tone. I hadn't realized how much thinner she has become. I wish her well. Other than that, the dress is quite awful on its own & doesn't fit in with what we see of the decor around her. Beats me why she wore such an ugly dress, although it looks comfy. The wrong type of print can be really aging for a lot of women (yes, I know she is 95.5). ~Laurel~

    3. @Laurel do you really choose your clothing to match your furniture?

    4. No Bob, of course I don't. However, I'm not a world-renowned Queen who meets important people & is photographed a lot. Elizabeth normally wears beautiful clothes for guests. This ugly "housewife" dress looks out of place amongst her "furniture" & decor. It looks like she took a break in her household/stable chores to emerge to welcome her latest guest. The dress is ugly, fugly, one of the worst she's ever worn besides when she's casual with her animals. ~Laurel~

  2. Glad to see the Queen feeling much better and back in bussiness as usual, we really missed her presence during the last events. By the way, lovely dress.

    1. I agree, a lovely dress. Bright and gay but not too busy with all the flowers.

  3. Elle a l'air toute pimpante dans cette robe très fleurie ainsi qu'une mise en plis neigeuse afin de recevoir le général ; vivement de la revoir sur le pont !

  4. Just so happy to see her carrying out an engagement in real life! Can't say I love the dress, though the autumnal colours are nice. It's of minor importance in just seeing her :-)

  6. I'm not sure about her dress, but that doesn't matter at all. What matters is that she is still here with us...continuing to do her duty. Bless her heart.

  7. God Bless the Queen. She has given a lifetime of loyal service to Great Britain, if she wants to show up in her jammies, I am all for it. When I am 95, I will wear whatever the heck I want as well.

  8. Its wonderful to see HM--she is so missed! She is looking her usual lovely self--but noticeably thinner. I hope she is recovering from her back sprain.
