On Friday 26 November 2021, Princess Marie opened the Christmas Bazaar 2021 at the Danish Church (Frederikskirken) in Paris. The Christmas Bazaar is the biggest event of the year for Frederikskirken, which is for three days transformed into one large Christmas market. Prince Joachim was also present at the opening. After the opening, the Princess toured the Christmas bazaar's many stalls, which offer, among other things, Danish Christmas food, calendar candles and elves.

Frederikskirken is named after Frederik IX, who inaugurated the church in 1955 together with Queen Ingrid. Frederikskirken, located in the center of Paris, is a gathering place for Danes in Paris and the surrounding area, and the church also functions as a meeting point, music house, culture house, children and youth house.

  3. Not much to stay, except that I like her boots. She often wears quite clumsy boots, but these look good on her.

  4. Princess Marie's coat is very nice, but her all-black ensemble looks kind of drab for a Christmas Bazaar. Prince Joachim appears happy and healthy.

    2. And it looks like Prince Joachim is competing with his brother for the prize of the worst dress Danish male at the Christmas Bazaar in Paris :-))

  6. Epitome of French chic. She has such great style. Shoes a few, well chosen quality outfits can make an elegant regal wardrobe. She could offer some pointers to certain grand duchesses or hereditary duchesses.

Now that's a good point. Prince Joachim is smartly dressed when he's been washed and polished and put into a uniform.
      Same thing for Prince Frederik.
I think you've hit the nail on the head.

  9. I like Marie's relaxed elegance, deep green coat is marvelous and boots are great on her. Little dark combination, true, but not boring at all.
