  1. Kate the Great looks great as always. She always hit the spot in the fashion stakes. I love that she wears Zara a brand everyone can afford & I love that coat and the length. I am thinking it may be new as I haven't seen it before. Her hair looks glossy & healthy. Definitely thumbs up. Mary I

    1. Agree, both shades of green look great on her. She has worn this a few times before over dresses. I think it NZ and for the Tour de France. Anyway, she looks great and a nice rewear- definitely a fresher look for this coat. I am on the fence with how full/flared the trousers are with the coat, she’s not in Maxima culottes territory, but I like them with the sweater. Perhaps a more straight/business cut, it too skinny.

    2. Mary, I've read that she wore the coat 2014 on a trip to New Zealand.

  2. Prince William looks decidedly tatty, the duchess totally exhausted but both look like they are doing their best . I suspect a night of looking after sick kids and having to hand them over to the nanny first thing in the morning and then having to rush of for the appointment. William usually looks a bit more brushed and polished even if it is only jeans. Those narrow trousers in a light weight fabric are most unflattering. I love very long and flared trousers but the duchess's trousers are really too long perhaps she was wearing higher heels when the length of the hem was decided.

  3. I think the Duchess is finally deciding to wear stylish, modern, comfortable clothes for her official appearance--because she is wearing trousers again. She looks fresh, modern, and stylish--good for her! Now if she would add a necklace...

  4. Duchess Catherine looks nice in green; certainly an environmental colour. I do not like the baggy trousers; a throw back to the 70's or was it the 80's.Actually a patterned skirt would have looked better. Her Majesty knows the tricks plain coat over a patterned dress. I like the lady's dress next to Kate and her boots look fun; she looks a fun person.

    1. The lady next to Kate neither her black panty nor her grey boots go with her dress. I prefer Kate's outfit simple but classy and it doesn't need fantasies to look good. Rose

    2. I´m with Rose on this. The lady in the green dress is pretty but I don´t like her outfit. Neither pantyhose nor boots work well with the dress. Kate´s outfit is the better one in my view.

  5. Catherine and William both looked professional and well put together for the occasion. Though I'm not personally a fan of the shades of green, Catherine still looks very nice. jj

  6. After seeing the length of Mary's hair, I think it emphasizes how much Kate could use a decent amount of length cut from her hair. I think it would look more polished. She looks very nice in green. This is not a dramatic outfit, but part of a perfect working wardrobe. ~d

  7. I agree she really needs a haircut. And this bright green isnt my favorite. It’s so good to see the coat not worn as a dress but argh I prefer it in the previous outfits!

  10. Belle palette de vert mais j'aime beaucoup celui de la robe de la jeune femme à côté de Kate ; de plus, ses bottines apportent une petite touche d’originalité !

  11. To me it seems a relaxed visit, and their clothes totally appropriate to the atmosphere.
I love C.’s trousers, wore them when I was her age, and remember always nearly falling over the seams,

  12. Love the flared trousers, the green colour, the perfect coat.

  13. The greens look a bit too cold for her warm complexion. A warmer shade of green -- i.e. more yellow than blue -- would suit her better.

  14. I like the greens but not together. One or the other on it's own is fine. I like her flared trousers.

  15. There is a lot of greenery going on here. In the forest I would swop PC up with a tree)): Agree we need more green into the world. Talking t'his thing (charles).
An emerald as earring I've should have chosen...with the coat worn as a dress.
