  1. Duchess Camilla looks good here. The white collar illuminates her face. Glad she wear shoes instead of the black boots she often wears in winter.

    1. The black boots will be back any day now.
They're probably at the shoe cobblers being re-soled and heeled.

  2. Vraiment ravie de la voir porter des petits talons noirs à décolleté légèrement en V qui sont parfaits avec ses collants noirs semi-opaques ; ils s'harmonisent très bien avec le bleu et le blanc !

  3. Her dress and jewels look lovely. The black hose and shoes not so much. Neutral hose and navy or camel colored shoes would be much nicer.

    1. Oh no! Let's not wish for camel in case the dreadful two tone shoes reappear. In any case, I think the darker tights look good with this dress.
It is reported that Her Majesty the Queen turned down the award as she doesn't feel she meets the relevant criteria!! Superb.

  4. A nice clean look for the Duchess. Agree , nude nylons would look better. But a better style than those flowery frocks she seems so fond of.

      Not odd at all.
The Brits love laughing at themselves.
Nice to see that the Queen got involved in the fun.

    2. If you read the written reply from the Queen when she was offered the award (can be found on the internet), in a very polite and regal way what she said can be summed up in two words as ....... get lost.
      Good on ya Ma'am,

  6. Well Camilla is well placed to give this award; isn't she a silver swan. The title of the award could have been; A life Time Recognition Award; and they each get a gold pin( brooch/for women; lapel pin for the men)Camilla needs a shorter haircut; actually Dame Helen Mirren had a great haircut at Prince William's Earth Award. Her fashion style needs to change to brighter colours (Tara)
