Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles planted a copper beech as part of the Platinum Jubilee initiative which aims to create a lasting legacy in tribute to Her Majesty's 70 years of service to the nation, through a network of trees planted in her name. The QGC is a UK-wide Platinum Jubilee initiative. The Queen has been residing at her Scottish estate for her traditional summer break.

  2. Quel plaisir de les voir en tenue décontractée même si je vois Charles porter une cravate ; il est vrai que c’est un événement avec photos à l’appui ?!

Queen Elisabeth is such a strong woman. I admire her a lot.
Prince Charles who is of my generation, a year younger than I am, dresses himself like my father did. He passed away 6 years ago at the age of 93. I don't know any man of my age who wears such old fashion clothes like PC does. Marcy

Charles is on his own, I'm afraid. I am surprised, yet not, that he is in a tie and slacks to plant a tree. It keeps him just out of reach of the people. ~d
