On October 7, 2021, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium attended the opening of an exhibition on British artist David Hockney's works at the Center for Fine Arts (BOZAR) in Brussels. The first part of the exhibition called "David Hockney: Works form the Tate Collection, 1954-2017" offers a comprehensive series of more than eighty of Hockney’s paintings, drawings and prints from the Tate Collection.

Wow! They both look wonderful here. Q. Mathilde’s dress is a gorgeous colour for her and it fits perfectly. Her hairstyle is great too - an elegant yet relaxed look.

I agree and it fits her so well. QM has the same dress in a grey checked fabric in which we saw her a couple of years ago in New York when she visited Broadway together with King Philippe. Marcy

    Brava, Q Mathilde, brava!

I think this is one of her most elegant, flattering, understated day looks. This ensemble is greater than the sum of its parts. Best of all, her smile in pic 8 is priceless.

They are a super stylish couple.

the line of the dress looks nice, but not thrilled with the dark pink color. A light gold, or harvest color would have been better perhaps. The dress looks lovely, but not the color. clare

  7. Ils forment un couple vraiment magnifique à la fière allure ; élégante silhouette dans cette robe au petit boutonnage dont j’adore la couleur ainsi que le décolleté ; je pense lui avoir déjà vu ces boucles d’oreilles !
