  4. Great silhouette .... and new hairstyle (cut)!
The dress is boring .... looks like something women worn in the 1890s. /K

  5. Wow! She cut her hair! I love it!

This all black outfit is simple but classy. Personally, I would lose the long necklace. Her boots are a nice eyecatcher.

    1. Agree about the necklace it can stay at home. I am never fond of stiletto boots. They always seem an anachronism to me. I always think if one needs boots one needs sensible heels too otherwise why boots? That is just personal though. For the rest it is lovely.

    2. Agree with @nalerina about the boots. They seem a clash with the rest of the outfit. Maybe she should send them to Camilla to brighten up her collection of tired looking black boots :-))

  6. She looks so much better in this hairstyle! It suits her face shape much, much better than the longer hair.

  7. Oh, I love her shoulder length hair. Very flattering. Her outfit is too dark, thankfully she added necklace to enliven it a bit.

    1. I am agreeing with you Karin, both on the shorter hair style and the drabness of the outfit. It seems far too sombre for the event. Not a great fan of the grey boots.

  9. I like this on Mary. The simplicity of the sweater and skirt is lovely, and a nice break from the florals. She will be able to accessorize it any number of ways. I adore her grey boots! Her hair looks gorgeous. It is nice to get the ends off after an active summer. The length is very flattering. ~d

  11. Love this look from CP Mary--simple, polished, and perfect for such a serious topic. And--her new, shorter hair is wonderful! She looks great!!!

  13. Do not think the silver boots go with the outfit, however, her hair and the new cut is lovely. jj

  14. Certainly prefer this length of hair on Mary as opposed to the longer hair. I love the style of the skirt &, jumper only black & black is too much black. The skirt would have been better with a different colour jumper eg pink or blue or something. I like the boots. Mary I

  16. Mary's hair looks good ;I don't like the dark dress, she could have worn something a little brighter, the boots look okay. I am amazed that everybody thinks girls are downtrodden; there are so many fantastic women leaders not just Royal flip flops; who wear expensive stuff and preach to the rest of us.

  17. Oh, I love CPss Mary's new shorter hair style. Shorter hair draw more attention to her eyes and is more flattering. Somehow this midi bob also makes her look years and years younger. Good choice for sure.
Her outfit looks a bit boring with all that black and grey. But when I look at what other wore, then she fits right into the group.

  18. Superbe look avec une coiffure plus courte – Délicat petit sautoir qui s’accorde bien avec ses boucles d’oreilles : j’aime moins le style de ses bottes !
