On Wednesday 22 September, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visited Gävleborg county to receive information about the local recovery efforts in the wake of the pandemic. In the capital of Gävleborg, Gävle, the couple visited, among others, the University of Gävle and the Hälsotorgens, where the Gävleborg region conducts certain health and medical care activities. The Crown Princess couple also paid a working visit to the axe factory Wetterlings in Storvik to discuss the pandemic from a business and cultural perspective.

  1. This is strange I like the colour of this trouser suit, I like the blouse, I like the length of the trousers and the fit of the jacket but something about the whole outfit jars. I think it's too corporate looking like something an airhostess might wear. However, it is certainly an improvement on the trouser suits CP Victoria sometimes wears with the half mast trousers. Prince Daniel looks as dapper as always.

    1. Strange suit, too much blue fabric, don't like the big patch pockets, and the pussy bow blouse does not make it better. Victoria Mother was (or still is) a fan of these, even in her younger years.
Daniels slim leg trousers look awful, bunching and too tight on the legs.
The CP's hair is always the same. She could do so much better.

  2. Nice suit, perfect. However I would have preferred a simple top, dark or white.

The suit is a fail for me. It does nothing for her. And then on top the blouse wit the bow.
Another shirt would have improved a lot.
But the light blue is wonderful on her.

    2. The suit doesn't do her any favours. The colour? too much blue.
And Prince Daniel is in his usual uniform (boring).
Posssitive note ..... nice to see them keeping in touch with the people of their country.

  4. Jolie couleur bleu-pervenche dans ce tailleur-pantalon structuré mais je ne suis pas fan de son chemisier fleuri surtout avec ce nœud qui ne l'avantage pas du tout !

  5. It's a big no for me, sorry Princess Victoria.
It makes you look far too old, shape of jacket and blouse underneath is all wrong on you.

70's era suit color; does nothing for CP Victoria. Its got clean lines, but the color is a dud especially with the scarf.

  7. She's a young beautiful smart woman, but she dresses like a much older person, her hair ages her as well.

  8. This looks like straight from the 70s. The bow blouse, the wide lapels, the super large pockets (and the way the´re sewn on), the bold colour. I actually like the fit of this suit, especially the trousers, but it doesn´t help if the whole thing looks like from the last century. Nothing wrong with a retro touch, but this getup is more like a costume.
Daniel´s suit looks bad too, but for a different reason. The fit is awful.

I have a 1976 Sears catalogue. I think if I look in there I'll find this exact same suit in polyester. ~Laurel~

The boots would have been dyed to match though. I am not sure which color would have been worse. ~d

Do you think Letizia will give Victoria styling lessons on how to rock a suit? The suit and the pussy bow blouse looks so buttoned up worn together. The color which could have been a fun choice just looks drab.

The color does nothing for her.
The pants fit but the jacket pulls funny.

  12. Agree with all the comments above, there is something off about this look, beside her hair style doesn't favor her. On the other hand, she is a very hardworking royal and lovely lady.

  13. Don't like this at all, looks very old fashioned and aging

I like Prince Daniel's outfit, it fits perfect. He has a conservative style, but we don't see him in ill-fitting jackets/suits as with CP Frederik.
Many of CP Victoria's outfits would look more suitable with another hair style and not always this too tight hairdo !

    1. Prince Daniel's suits are perhaps the best tailored amongst the royal men.
But if he could just break out of his double breasted dark blue suit from time to time.
Yes, Prince Frederik needs help but he seems to be so happy in his sporting clothes.
And as for Prince Charles, well let's leave that for another time.
