She and Carl Philippe are not primary duty royals, even though they are family. They do not have to attend all events where the King and the heir(ess) attend. No different than other royal families in Europe, and increasingly so the UK.

I would like to see the men in traditional garb. The ladies look nice.

  3. Des photos vraiment charmantes - En attendant de voir le roi porter un costume traditionnel, j'aurais bien aimé le voir sourire, cela m'aurait suffi !!

  5. Nice to see them holding on to their tradition/s.
Lots of colour and luminosity to brighten up their short summer.
Congratulations to Lotta Sjöberg for winning the prize.

    2. Deadeggs, You are right about the short summer. I once saw a interview with Queen Sylvia and she commented that Sweden has 2 winters, the white one and the green one!
