Lovely summer weight tweed that allows the queen to put those pretty legs on display. The brown espadrilles and belt provide contrast. Both looks including accessories show off the dress to its advantage. This will look great on one of the girls when they begin to make closet raids in a couple of years.

  6. Lovely dress. I like it better with the belt, but with the shoes she wore on a previous occasion.
I know those platform wedges are very Spanish but to my non-Spanish eyes they look too clunky with that beautiful dress.

    1. Exactly what I was thinking--too clumsy for such a summery dress, though a perfect match for the belt.

Great dress and the belt and shoes are the perfect finishing touch.

I don't like the brown accessories with the dress. The shoes are especially clunky and look bad.

Those shoes are terrible. Not sure I like the dress either, but those shoes are just not flattering (nor a colour that helps the overall look).

The shoes are a worn by ladies across all income levels at my different types of events. Even her girls have started wearing them. It is also excellent promotion for Spanish shoe industry which is no doubt struggling because of the pandemic. A little knowledge of the culture is a good thing. Marie.
