Lovely colour, lovely sleeve length and shoulders, lovely skirt length, lovely neckline, lovely fabric (there seem to be some embroidered dots), lovely fit - lovely everything. Well done to the Duchess.

  3. Yep! I like it! Nice colour, good fitting, love the subtle shine woven in the fabric.

    1. It's a "yep" from me too.
      Excellent work by the seamstress/couturière.

The colour is lovely on her, however I think the Duchess’s style is stuck in a rut - a couple of silhouettes over and over. And maybe it’s time to consider an update to her hairstyle and footwear? I look at Q. Sonja and Q. Silvia and see ladies older than D. Camilla whose styles seem fresher and more modern than hers. You are right, she sticks to a style that she likes and that is also good for her. This also means recognisability for the public, same as in case of the Queen. So the only reason for her to change this and make things more varied would be to please folks that populate fashion blogs like this one :-). Her strength shows not at everyday occasions, her strength are BIG hats that she wears really beautifully and festive occasions - maybe you remember this exquisite dress: https://www.hellomagazine.com/imagenes/fashion/royal-style/2018111464563/camilla-stuns-at-prince-charles-70-birthday-party/0-304-118/prince-charles-official-birthday-dinner-picture-z.jpg (-Ann.)

    2. Camilla is an aristocratic country girl (horses and hounds).
Dresses, looks, fashion and feminin attire are of little interest to her.
I'm sure she prefers the smell of the damp English country side rather than Chanel N°5.

I do believe deadeggs is correct about Camilla! It's one thing about her that apparently has always appealed to Charles. ~Laurel~

    1. In my opinion Laurel, you've hit the right nail on the head about Charles.
Diana with her beauty, style and femininity was not the style of woman that he could spend the rest of his life with.
I don't know if Diana ever rode a horse.
For her it was city life, shopping, fashion, and attention to keeping her beauty.
      To each his/her own.

I agree with Deadeggs, Camilla does not care much about fashion and she wears the same style of dresses in different fabric and color. She is very old fashion and so is Charles.

She really has found her style! And like the Queen, she keeps to it in a variety of tissues and colours. Vary wise!
    And she looks lovely!

  8. Lovely dress in the Duchesses usual style. Love the floral dress worn by Darcey Bussell. The little girl's gorgeous dress is a perfect match for that of the Duchess.

Great color. I agree with the earlier comment about Camilla being stuck in a style rut. I really like Darcey’s floral dress.

Camilla looks beautiful; the silky dress suits her. I believe that Camilla is a silver swan; and encourages all forms of dance. I like the dress that the little girl is wearing who presented the flowers. Well I never would have known that was Darcy Bussell; she has put on a bit of weight; the shoes she is wearing look like hob nail boots nothing feminine about them; usually she is so delicate.

  11. I particularly love the fact the young girl has a dress on that matches (I'm sure it was coincidence, but it is cute). I think Camilla looks very nice, this style of dress works well for her, and the light color is pretty.
