    2. Agree, agree Rosalyn!
Shouldn't someone who has her ear tell her about multifocal's then she would not have to dangle her spectacles around her neck on a string which I am sure must tangle with half the pairs of earrings she has.
I understand why she has to fix her reading glasses on a string since one never remembers where one has put them down if only used for reading.

    3. Agreed, just too much of everything. Sleeves, bow, pattern. She really just can't edit can she? It's a shame, because so often she comes so close.

  5. I think this outfit is quite chic and suits her well, yes I like it although a bit dark and it fits very well with the hair. For me, YES.

Love this dress. The touch of yellow between the black and white check is gorgeous. Máxima likes to exaggerate in her selection of clothes. Sometimes it goes in the wrong direction and sometimes not, like today in my opinion. What's wrong with her hair by the way?

    1. O.K. but even with all her lumps and bumps, you can't help but like her.
Would love to have her as my next door neighbour.

Yes, I can only agree with you.
Some people simply do not want to admit they do not like Maxima.
I myself say no to this oufit in particular, but some comments are really excessive.
I can' t help but saying: why bother to comment if you do not like this Queen?
      Just move on.

@Poekie: I agree again. She is a superconsumer of horrible clothes, once worne never to be seen again (which is a blessing in disguise). And this woman lectures “normal” people on “Wijzer in geld”….. (Wiser with money)….. maybe meaning a leaf from her book: to spend other people’s money without a care in the world? I do not mind her buying expensive clothes (and leave the occasional Zara dress for the bühne at Zara’s) but hire a stylist, buy elegant clothes and wear time again and again.

Other than the poofy sleeves and the huge neck (bow) tie, this is a beautiful dress. I like the fabric (especially the yellow running through the black and white) and the cut and fall of the skirt. Id have liked to see Maxima standing up wearing it. It looks horrible from what we can see when she is sitting down. Full marks for the sleek pony tail.

  10. Hair style is great and really suits her. Undecided about the outfit without seeing a full length view. It appears quite overpowering on the model. Given the bold check of the fabric, does it really need the exaggerated sleeves and bow neckline? On the other hand, I like the pleated skirt. No doubt we’ll get a full view on another occasion.
